How to play Destiny: Rising closed alpha?

5 days ago 7

Destiny: Rising, NetEase’s upcoming mobile adaptation of the popular series, is available in limited regions as part of a closed alpha test. You can try it out to gain firsthand experience of all the content.

This specific test is scheduled to run for a little over a month, but it’s restricted to users situated in the USA and Canada only. If you reside in one of those two nations, you can play the closed alpha for free and enjoy what appears to be some really exciting content. However, playing the game isn’t as simple as just going to your mobile app store and downloading the client. You’ll first need to become eligible for the play test before you can jump into the experience.

How to participate in Destiny: Rising closed alpha test

For starters, you’ll have to be located in either the USA or Canada to begin the process. You’ll first need to sign up on the website by clicking on this link. Once you’ve signed up, you’re now eligible to take part in the closed alpha. All you have to do is just wait – once you’re cleared, you’ll get the client download link in your mail.

Make sure to check the Promotions and Spam section of your mailbox, as the download link could be sent over there. Once you have downloaded the app, you can play immediately since the closed alpha went live at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET on November 1.

All available content in Destiny: Rising closed alpha test

Like similar test versions of other games, Destiny: Rising‘s closed alpha won’t have every bit of content unlocked for the players. That said, you’ll be able to enjoy the prologue of the main story campaign. The console/PC version of the two Destiny games has some beautiful lore, but it remains to be seen if the mobile adaptation can do justice in this department.

Players will also get access to three public events and two strike missions, and they can also enjoy the Gauntlet – a six-player raid mode. Additionally, there are modes like The Realm of the IX, Legacy, Shifting Gates, and Morgran’s Prey. Plenty of tasks are going to be available for the players to complete objectives and unlock new rewards.

Based on the existing schedule, the closed alpha test will continue until December 5, 11:59 p.m. PT.
