The latest massive free update for PocketPair's Palworld includes a dazzling new island full of new Pals, materials, and lots of new items. Over 30 new Pals inhabit the new area, Feybreak Island. This is one of the largest free updates that Palworld has received to date, just a month shy of its first anniversary. While Feybreak Island is inhabited by an assortment of new and familiar Pals, there's also a new assortment of skills, some of which have been updated for use either in combat or at the player's base.
The Palworld Feybreak update is not quite as shiny as it seems, as many new threats are lurking around the island. This includes new Tower Bosses and Raid Bosses that can be fought in a terrifying setting. One of these is a new kind of Pal, the Predator Pal. These new Pals are incredibly aggressive and known to be extremely difficult to battle, but they drop Predator Cores, which can be used for crafting. Scattered Across Feybreak Island
Predator Cores are one of the new crafting materials added to Palworld alongside Feybreak Island. These items are rather tricky to come by, as you'll need to look for a rampaging Predator Pal around the map. There are 33 Predator Pals around the map that work similarly to Bosses, but they are not able to be befriended and will not show up on your map. They do respawn, so the Predator Core is not a limited resource, but their respawn time can vary in length.

Since there are 33 Predator Pals around the map, there is a chance that you may come across one on your own. If you have trouble finding them, there's a map available from Paldb that has a numbered list of the available Predator Pals that roam the island. If you defeat a Predator Pal, they will drop a Predator Core among other new items. Some of the Predator Pals have a spawn time connected to your Day/Night cycle, so be sure to check the area at all times of day if you're farming for Predator Cores.

A Rare Crafting Material
Since Predator Cores are a new crafting material within the Feybreak update of Palworld, there is a rather limited number of things that can currently be done with them. These cores can be used to craft items like new pouches that can increase the number of inventory spots that you have available.
The Predator Cores are also necessary for crafting the new Meowmere sword, a weapon from Terraria that meows and fires bullets. Therefore, Predator Cores are a necessity for any players who want a cute but deadly weapon in Palworld.
