How to get more clothes in Infinity Nikki

1 week ago 4

Clothes make the world go ‘round in Infinity Nikki. Nikki is a stylist, meaning that she’ll need a diverse closet of gear that you’ll be able to set her up in. Whether you’re looking for clothes to take on styling duels or you just want to set up Nikki in a variety of cute outfits, we got your back.

While you may be concerned that you’ll have to grab new pieces from the “Resonance” gacha system, don’t worry — there’s many ways to get clothes without having to dish out any coin.

Below we explain different methods to unlock more outfit pieces in Infinity Nikki, including both paid and free methods.

Roll for clothes in the ‘Resonance’ gacha for premium currency (paid)

Lots of the fanciest, highest-stat clothing is only available if you roll for it in the “Resonance” system. These outfits are usually extravagant gowns and other very formal accessories. Infinity Nikki uses the same system many other similar games use: there’s a Resonance banner that’s permanent that you can use the blue Resonite Crystals to pull on, and there’s a limited-time Resonance banner that you can only use the pink Revelation Crystals on. You’ll need to pull methodically and wisely to get the outfit pieces you want from these gacha banners.

Roll for clothes in the Surprise-o-Matic (free)

Outside of the Stylist’s Guild in Florawish, there’s a gachapon machine that you can use bling on to roll. It costs a whopping 20,000 Bling for one pull (and 200,000 blind to pull 10 times at once), so you’ll want to spend wisely here, as you’ll need Bling to upgrade your gear as well.

Buy clothes from NPCs and shops (free)

Look out for NPCs with a shirt icon above their head or for buildings marked with the shirt icon on the map, as these NPCs and shops will sell clothes! These pieces are much more simple, but are great for if you want to actually make an outfit. Since the gacha mainly offers dresses, these stores offer more casual pieces for Nikki’s everyday wear.

Beat NPCs in styling duels (free)

Some of the faction NPCs you need to take down in styling duels will offer you clothing sketches if you beat them. You can check which ones give what via the “factions” button on the Pear-Pal menu. Note that they give sketches, which means you’ll need to craft the actual clothing once you unlock the recipe.

Complete side quests (free)

You’ll definitely unlock outfit pieces as you complete the main story quests, but some side quests will also unlock outfit sketches. Once you start the quest and it shows up in your quest log, you can check to see what sketch the quest rewards.

Buy them in the shop for real money (paid)

Unfortunately, there are quite a few outfits that seem to be locked behind real-money transactions. If you want these fits (with likely more to be added in the store in future updates), you’ll need to swipe your credit card to buy them.

Upgrade the Heart of Infinity skill tree (free)

Adding nodes to your “Heart of Infinity” skill tree will also unlock sketches for clothes and accessories, so make sure you look through and make note of any sketches you like.

Open glowing chests (free)

Some chests you find around the world will yield clothing sketches. Again, they’re just sketches, so you’ll need to craft the clothing item, but this is a great way to find some good pieces for your outfits. Each chest contains a specific item, so you can use an interactive map tool (like this one from IMapp) to see what’s in each chest, if you’re looking for something specific.

Trade Dew of Inspiration to Kilo the Cadenceborn (free)

You can trade in those glowing blue-purple globs you’ve collected around the world with this… dragon creature in the Memorial Mountains to unlock more clothing. They’ll give you different pieces of outfit sets as you hand over more and more dew.
