How to find the Winter Cloak and stay warm in Fisch

The Northern Expedition update is quite ‘cold,’ and to save yourself from the lowering temperatures in Fisch, the Winter Cloak might be your best friend.

Being the first area of the zone, the Northern Summit is relatively comfortable. But the temperature drops, and you’ll have to find the Winter Cloak in order to access more regions. This item will save you from being frozen due to the low temperatures, but finding it might not be that easy. It’s located very close to the summit, and getting lost along the way won’t be nice.

Let’s take a look at how you can find this item that will help to keep you warm.

How to get the Winter Cloak in Fisch

As mentioned earlier, the Winter Cloak is situated in the zone right before the summit. Naturally, you’ll have to travel quite a bit, and reach the Overgrowth caves. Reaching this point is relatively easy, and you can also find the Avalanche Rod and Pickaxe at this location.

After reaching Northern Summit, take the lane by the three yellow tents and access the ladders to go up the cliffs. You can check out this guide which will help you to reach the Overgrowth Caves, and you can obtain the Pickaxe in the process. You’ll need a Glider for your journey, as there will be gaps between cliffs without any ladder.

Once you reach Overgrowth Caves, there are two routes to take: the one going left, which is mentioned in the guide linked above, and the one going to the right. You’re going to take the route going right, which immediately requires you to take a couple of ladders.

Another ladder will appear, and then comes the first space between the two cliffs. You’ll want to jump onto the higher rock before jumping and using the glider. Doing so will help you to cover the space quite easily.

Go straight, jump down, and turn left (you’ll find a narrow tunnel between two cliffs). Go straight, take a left, and proceed to come across another set of ladders (don’t go straight as you’ll fall; just turn to your left, and you’ll find the ladders).

Climb up using the two ladders at this spot and go straight to come across a natural bridge connecting the two mountain cliffs. Turn right at the end, and once again, go straight till you come across a ladder. You’ll have to travel on a narrow cliffside path for a few seconds, so be careful. You’ll find a set of ladders at the end and use them to access the second part of the path.

Usually, you’ll be heading straight, but use the ladders as your guide. To reach the summit, ladders are your best friend, so use them whenever they’re around you. Once again, you’ll come across a narrow bridge, and it will lead you to a narrow path (take a left from where the bridge ends).

Head straight on the narrow path, make a jump using your glider and use ladders to go to a higher level. You’ll come across the zone with several orange tents. The Winter Cloak is located inside a box at the highest tent in this region and costs C$7,500 to unlock.
