Nick Pasqual - who is known for a role in How I Met Your Mother - is being sued by an ex-girlfriend over an alleged sexual assault weeks after being found guilty of trying to murder that same ex.
The 36-year-old actor faces life in prison and has a sentencing hearing on June 2 after being found guilty of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with person present and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child's parent, in a California court on May 8.
He stabbed his estranged Hollywood makeup artist girlfriend Allie Shehorn repeatedly inside her home in Sunland in May of 2024, leaving her fighting for her life with horrific injuries.
Now, Shehorn has claimed that Pasqual had assaulted and raped her during an incident in April 2024 while the two were dating.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Shehorn alleges her ex subjected her to 'controlling, coercive, threatening, and physically violent conduct' during their relationship as she claims that the abuse had escalated over time.
The new lawsuit also revisits the aforementioned stabbing attack which ultimately led to his conviction as Shehorn said Pasqual broke into her home in the early morning hours and stabbed her more than 20 times in the throat, chest, back, abdomen, arms, and wrists intending to 'kill her' it is claimed in the docs.

Shehorn alleges in the documents that she had survived the stabbing after undergoing emergency surgery and intensive medical treatment but says she was left with permanent injuries, emotional trauma, and ongoing medical expenses.
In the newly-filed lawsuit obtained by TMZ, she is now suing for sexual battery, gender violence, assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence while she is seeking both compensatory and punitive damages.
Meanwhile, Pasqual was criminally convicted earlier this month as he is facing life in prison after being found guilty of stabbing Shehorn more than 20 times in an attempt to kill her.
Pasqual attempted to flee to Mexico after his bloodbath attack, but was apprehended on the Fort Hancock International Bridge in tiny Sierra Blanca, Texas, before being extradited back to California.
He now faces the maximum penalty, which is a life sentence in a state prison. He will be sentenced at a later date.
At the time of the attempted murder, Shehorn had already taken out a restraining order on her estranged partner.
She alleged in 2024 that he hit her with a belt on January 29, breaking down several doors in their home on March 6 and raping and choking her on April 14.
After they broke up, Pasqual broke into her home and stabbed her dozens of times.

The makeup artist was found at the horrific scene by Christine White, her friend who also lived in the same house.
A GoFundMe, which was set up to help Shehorn cope with her mounting medical bills at the time, wrote that White 'acted fast when she found Allie bleeding out', a move that 'saved her life.'
White said in 2024: 'This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody. You don't think this is ever going to happen to you.
'I found her and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened,' she said. 'That wasn't a pretty sight.'
In tearful testimony during the trial, Shehorn said: 'I locked the door and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open, and I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there's another lock on that door.'
Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2024, Shehorn revealed that she almost died from the stab wounds inflicted on her and said that Pasqual 'can't get away with it'.
'I just hope that there's justice served,' she said.
'People should know that this shouldn't happen and he can't get away with it.'
The talented special effects make-up artist spent more than a week in hospital following the attack and still bears the marks, including vivid scarring to her throat.

At the time, one of her hands was still in a cast and she said she didn't know whether it will recover enough for her to be able to return to work.
'That's the goal,' she told Daily Mail. 'I still don't have feeling back in my hands and partial vision loss that I can't get back.
Shehorn has worked as a makeup artist on films like Mean Girls and Rebel Moon.
Pasqual appeared on How I Met Your Mother, Archive 81, and was the producer on the comedy series National Day Riff.
The actor has previous convictions, including a July 2013 DUI and another the following February.
