House of the Dragon's dramatic Season 3 finale officially sent shockwaves through the audience, even among longtime Game of Thrones fans familiar with the source material. Viewers had been wondering how the show would handle the events at Tumbleton, particularly after HBO's adaptation began making notable changes to Fire & Blood as early as Season 1.

Love it or hate it, the sacking of Tumbleton featured some major surprises for beloved characters such as Roddy the Ruin, who lost an arm before managing to... mortally wound Lord Ormund Hightower. Hugh Hammer was dealt an equally devastating blow when he arrived at Tumbleton, while Ulf the White became one of the episode's biggest wild cards.

The episode marked the end of a relatively controversial season, and if you're looking for more House of the Dragon before Season 4 finally releases no sooner than 2028, Game of Thrones has revealed The Flames of Tumbleton for a limited time (via Dragonfire).

The Flames of Tumbleton is a newly revealed seasonal event for Game of Thrones: Dragonfire that was released earlier this season just after House of the Dragon's finale aired. It was unveiled as part of a celebration post that developers announced with a full list of this season's events. While the events themselves are no longer active within the game, the rewards can still be claimed until October 1.

These limited-edition prizes can be claimed as part of the "watch-along" rewards that are earned by connecting your Dragonfire account to your HBO account and then viewing each episode. Finishing each episode will reward you a unique award, while viewing all episodes will unlock Caraxes, Daemon's fan-favorite dragon from House of the Dragon.

Additionally, players will be able to claim a Season 3 celebration reward and take part in a final season 3 event if they act before the end of the day Monday, August 24, 2026.

Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is a newly released mobile 4X strategy game that lets players participate in seasonal events that tie in to each House of the Dragon episode, while also introducing unique dragons, famous dragons and characters from the show itself, and newly created characters and locations that are unique to the game itself.

Currently, it's unclear what the content plan is for Dragonfire moving beyond Season 3 and into Season 4, though it's likely there will be additional tie-ins to the upcoming season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, as well as new events connected to House of the Dragon that aren't necessarily connected to specific episodes, though nothing has been confirmed from developers at Warner Bros. Boston as of this writing.

If you haven't had a chance to play Game of Thrones: Dragonfire yet, now is a great time to dive in while there's still time to claim the Season 3 rewards and get caught up with the action.
