Hota Kotb revealed the thoughtful gift that Savannah Guthrie, her Today co-anchor, ahead of her last day on the show.

Ahead of her final broadcast, the television personality, 60, opened up about the weeklong sendoff her co-workers have dubbed a 'Hoda-bration.'

She previously announced in September 2024 that she would be stepping down as co-anchor of the NBC show after three decades.

The journalist — who was overcome with emotion during an unexpected reunion on the show ahead of her departure — said she has received thoughtful gifts all week from her fans and colleagues.

'I love it,' she told People on Thursday and added that her co-anchor Guthrie gave her a particularly sentimental group of gifts.

'I'm taking it, I'm wearing it, I'm drinking it, I'm eating it,' she said about all of the gifts she appreciates receiving. 'People are making cookies. I'm reading it. I mean, these cards, I can't with the cards.'

She noted that the handwritten letters she has received are her 'favorite part' so far.

As for the parting gift Guthrie gave her, she revealed it was very witty and thoughtful.

'Savannah gave me a box, and it said, "Open me now,"' she recalled. 'And it had two pom-poms in it.

She said, "You've been cheering everyone on, so now I want you to take these pom poms from you."'

Kotb continued: 'She put in a clock with a shattered face, and she said, "Charlie broke it," which is, you know, I don't need an alarm clock anymore!

'And the last thing she gave me was this bracelet,' she added. 'She gave me this ring that says, "Love." And she gave me this bracelet that says, "With you."'

About Guthrie, her co-anchor of many years, she gushed: 'Let me tell you something about her — she always shows up.

'She always shows up. That's what she does the best. She shows up for people, for her friends. She shows up.'

She also told the outlet about the many different feelings she is experiencing as the end of her 17 years at the network approaches.

'I'm trying to slow it all down, that's what I'm trying to do,' she said. 'On Monday, I used to wish for Wednesday, so I could wish for Friday, the weekend.

'And I was thinking about it, in all the weeks, this is the first week that I don't want Friday to come just yet,' she added. 'Because that Friday is going to be a big marker.'

She continued: 'So I was thinking to myself, "Slow down, slow everything down."

'And nobody says, "I love you," like the Today show,' she emphasized. 'Nobody.'
