Giving into the webtoon mania, Shonen Jump's publisher, Shueisha, recently launched a new webtoon platform called Jump Toon along with the commitment to not only license current popular works but also produce new original series. As part of this new initiative, Shueisha has announced the serialization of two new series on Jump Toon, one of these being Netflix's adorable new romance anime Blue Box.
According to a post on X by WSJ_manga, Koji Miura's Blue Box will be receiving a fully-colored webtoon adaptation on Jump Toon. The series will be launched on the platform in December 2024, with an exact release date yet to be revealed. A webtoon adaptation of Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. by Sekka Iwata will also be launched alongside Blue Box.
That said, the only catch is that Jump Toon's series are currently only offered in Japanese, so it is unclear when and if Blue Box's upcoming webtoon will be available in English and other regional languages.
