Hilary Duff was left totally stunned by the audience's reaction when she revealed her childhood crush.
On Wednesday, the singer, 38, appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show where she admitted to once being head over heels for 90s heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas.
However, Duff quickly learned that much of Hudson's audience had no idea who Thomas was.
She was first asked to name her childhood crush by a fan in the audience after they shared that actor Jacob Elordi recently revealed Duff as his celebrity crush.
'Do you remember JTT?' Duff asked the fan, before turning to the rest of Hudson's studio audience.
'Look, you're too young. You're too young,' she said. 'Please raise your hand if you know who I'm talking about.'

Duff was shocked to see that 'not even half' of the audience knew of Thomas.
She then promptly educated them and viewers at home on the 90s heartthrob, who is now 44 years old.
'OK guys, he was on Home Improvement,' she began of Thomas's most notable TV and film credits.
'He was also in The Lion King. He was a kid. He was the voice of Simba, right?'
The singer, who is married to musician Matthew Koma, then went on to name another heartthrob from her teen years.
Duff admitted that she had a crush on the youngest member of the Hanson band of brothers, Zac Hanson.
Over a decade ago, Thomas famously stepped away from television roles and Hollywood life all together.
He first became a household name as a pre-teen due to his roles in the ABC sitcom Home Improvement starring Tim Allen, Disney's animated film The Lion King, Man Of The House and Tom and Huck.
Thomas was last photographed publicly in late 2023 during a rare outing in Southern California.
However, she was left speechless and appalled when half of the audience did not appear to recognize the actor

When 'less than half' of the audience responded, she educated the viewers about Thomas and then dropped the name another one of her childhood crushes

His last role was as recurring guest star on another Allen-led sitcom, Last Man Standing, from 2013 to 2015, before seemingly putting Hollywood behind him for good.
Thomas studied history and philosophy at Harvard University before graduating from Columbia University in 2010; he also attended St. Andrews University in Scotland.
In 2013, the former actor opened up about his decision to flee the spotlight, telling People: I'd been going nonstop since I was 8 years old.
'I wanted to go to school, to travel and have a bit of a break,' Thomas said before adding that he had 'no regrets' about being a teen star.
'I never took the fame too seriously. It was a great period in my life, but it doesn't define me.'
As for Duff, the mother-of-four was known as a teen idol herself and began her acting career at the age of 10.
She starred as the titular lead in the hit Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire and later leveraged her film and television success into becoming an A-list pop star.
Her 2003 debut studio album, Metamorphosis, debuted at the top of the charts and achieved triple-platinum status.
