Hilaria Baldwin Discusses Husband Alec's Simple Romantic Gestures
Alec Baldwin is ready for another boss baby.
Hilaria Baldwin—who shares seven kids with the 30 Rock actor—recently revealed he has dropped not-so-subtle hints about expanding their large family, and she’s not shying away from sharing her thoughts on the matter.
As the 41-year-old yoga instructor told People in a Feb. 13 interview, “He’s always asking me for more kids.”
Alec, 66, jokingly asked the reporter to not judge him on his interest to have another baby, before revealing their children constantly makes him think about fatherhood.
“I don’t really want [another baby],” Alec noted, before admitting that “every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2, I look at [Hilaria] and I go, ‘Time to have another.’”
And while Hilaria understands his baby fever, she’s not completely on board with the idea, saying, “They’re so cute, but my body’s really tired.”
Alec and Hilaria, who got married in 2012 after six months of dating, have always been open about keeping their family dynamic tight, including encouraging their kids—Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and Marilu, both 4, and Ilaria, 2—to follow his footsteps and become actors. And recently, the bunch added a new job to their portfolio: they’re starring in their first TLC reality series, The Baldwins, which is set to release sometime this year.

The Emmy winner’s latest thoughts about fatherhood are optimistic, considering he wasn’t always interested in welcoming another baby to the Baldwin household. During his May appearance on the Our Way with Paul Anka and Skip Bronson podcast, Alec—also dad to Ireland, 29, with ex-wife Kim Basinger—laughed off the idea of expanding his family.
“Oh man, how dare you ask me that question?” he asked the co-hosts, before revealing he and Hilaria’s decision to build their family at a later stage in their marriage. “I found that as I got older, work became less interesting to me. Then all of a sudden I met my wife, who I love dearly. And every time the [youngest] baby would get to be 2 years old, we go, ‘Maybe it’s time for one more baby.’”

The Baldwin Brothers
Alexander Rae Baldwin III—the Emmy-winning actor known as Alec Baldwin—was born April 3, 1958, to Alexander Rae Baldwin Jr. and Carol Newcomb. He's the second of six siblings and the oldest brother.
Next came Daniel Baldwin, born October 5, 1960. William "Billy" Baldwin arrived on February 21, 1963, followed by Stephen Baldwin, the youngest of the bunch, on May 12, 1966.

The eldest of the six siblings is Elizabeth "Beth" Baldwin Keuchler, born in 1955 and now a mother of six with her landscape architect husband Charles Keuchler.
No. 5 of six is Jane Baldwin Sasso, born in 1965. She's married to Randy Sasso and reportedly has two children.

Mama Baldwin
Their father died at the age of 55 in 1983 but Carol—who survived a 1991 breast cancer diagnosis—lived until she was 92. She passed away May 26, 2022, with 25 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and an eponymous cancer research foundation to her name.
“My mother taught me about second acts. And third ones, too," Alec wrote in tribute when she died. "She spent the last 25 years of her life as a fighter and a champion for the cause to which she devoted so much energy."

While she swapped her maiden name for her similarly famous married name soon after she and Justin legally wed, it wasn't a decision Hailey took lightly.
"It took some getting used to, for sure," she told Bustle in 2019. "It's definitely strange, it takes adjusting."
Growing up a Baldwin, she added, "I'm very proud of my family name. I come from a great family with a history in this industry."
The couple revealed in May 2024 that Hailey was pregnant with their first child together.
