Former Hi-5 star Charli Robinson has scored a record-breaking $2.5 million sale for her Sydney investment apartment, despite fears the property would struggle at auction amid reports of a cooling market.
The veteran children's entertainer, 46, sold the one-bedroom unit in the landmark Coogee Waters building after a short marketing campaign, setting a new suburb benchmark in the process.
The apartment, which Charli had owned since 2012, went under the hammer last month while she watched nervously from Queensland alongside her racing driver partner Liam Talbot.
'I'm proud to say we achieved a new suburb record for Coogee for a one-bedroom at $2.5 million,' Charli told realestate.com.au.
The sale came despite growing concerns about Sydney's property market, with the former Hi-5 star admitting she feared the worst before the auction began.
'My goodness... I was nervous given all the major headlines that morning of properties getting passed in at auction and prices plummeting,' she said.

'Liam held my hand the whole way as we watched from our Brisbane home via a link from our fabulous auctioneer.'
While the bidding opened cautiously, some reassurance from her husband helped calm her nerves.
'It started low... I was nervous, but Liam told me wise words: "It's not where you start, it's where you finish" and I certainly had a smile at the finish,' she said.
Charli previously lived in the beachfront apartment while juggling filming commitments for Dancing With The Stars and hosting a national evening program on 2Day FM.
For the past decade, however, the property has operated as a holiday home.
'Work often has me filming in Sydney, which means I'm frequently in hotels and rarely able to enjoy this apartment to its fullest,' she explained.
'It's a beautiful space that deserves to be lived in and loved – an exceptional opportunity for someone to make it their own treasured retreat.'
Positioned in the building's northeast wing, the apartment boasts secure lift access and a newly renovated wraparound entertainer's terrace with sweeping ocean views.

Charli said the property's standout feature – its breathtaking ocean views – was impossible to ignore.
'This apartment has the convenience of a restaurant downstairs for your morning coffee, the beautiful beach just steps away, and those iconic coastal walks in both directions,' she said.
'But the real magic happens the moment you walk through the door — nothing but pure ocean views.'
'Being on the top level means uninterrupted water views from every window, along with a sense of peace and privacy that's hard to find.'
The Queensland-based couple are no strangers to high-profile property deals.
Last year, Charli and her husband sold their Bulimba investment property in Brisbane for $3.36 million.
Their family home in Chandler was purchased by Talbot in 2019, shortly after the birth of their first daughter.
The sprawling estate features 16 car spaces, a separate two-bedroom guest apartment, a wine cellar and sits on more than one hectare of land.
Charli left Hi-5 in 2008 - she and her husband share two daughters - Theadora, six, and Kensington, seven.
