This new iteration of Heroes of Might and Magic includes classic Heroes of series gameplay for you to engage with, plus a new twist via a new game mode too for newer players (or older ones curious on this fresh spin). The game allows for solo play and multiplayer, so you don't have to leap in alone if you don't fancy it.

The first new Might and Magic game in a decade, the game has a dedicated narrative campaign, skirmish modes, an arena mode, plus a variety of generated and developer-made maps. There are six factions to play too, ranging from classic fantasy knights through The Temple, or the rambling walking dead of Necropolis.

This game, a revival of the Might and Magic series to celebrate its 30th anniversary, has proven to be something sought after by PC players. When added to Steam, it soared to become one of the top 10 wishlisted games on the platform. While there's no date yet for a full release, prior statements made by the developers said this Early Access launch plan has been chosen so players can: "actively participate in the development of the game."

Are you going to try it out later this month? Let us know, as well as if you've got any history with the Might and Magic series.
