The Blood of Dawnwalker is out in less than 24 hours, and it'll be appropriately dark outside by the time some of you are ready to play as its fledgling vamp. It's a delightfully dismal RPG, but you don't have to take my word for it. In our Blood of Dawnwalker review, my colleague Shaun said it's "one of the best blockbuster action RPGs" he's played in years.

When is the Blood of Dawnwalker release date and launch time?

The Blood of Dawnwalker launches on PC for about half the globe on Wednesday, September 2, at the earliest. The other half will start playing on Thursday, September 3. Timezones can be a pain to calculate, so here's what time Blood of Dawnwalker launches in regions around the world:

  • 3 pm PDT (Los Angeles) (September 2)
  • 6 pm EDT (New York) (September 2)
  • 11 pm BST (London) (September 2)
  • 12 am CEST (Berlin) (September 3)
  • 8 am AEST (Sydney) (September 3)
  • 10 am NZST (Auckland) (September 3)

If your region isn't listed above, try plugging your city into this helpful time and date tool. Being a few hours off is lethal for vampires, after all.

Is there preloading for The Blood of Dawnwalker?

Yes, you can preload The Blood of Dawnwalker on Steam right now. It was 48.8GB when I checked, but keep in mind its minimum requirements demand 60GB total for the install at launch. Not too bad for a modern launch, though I'm sure I'll fill the rest of my drive up if it becomes yet another RPG with a mildly active modding scene.
