Here come the happy couple! AFL star Lachie Neale holds hands with his glamorous new girlfriend Emma Field as he wears a questionable outfit at Brisbane Airport

Lachie Neale moved on from his messy split with wife Jules earlier this year, debuting his new girlfriend Emma Field.

And despite the naysayers saying it wouldn't last, the footy star looked absolutely smitten with the glamorous brunette at Brisbane Airport on Wednesday.

The couple held hands the entire time they strolled through the terminal.

Emma, 29,  looked every inch the footy WAG in a sporty Jagger & Stone burgundy and white T-shirt teamed with white jeans and matching white sandals.

She was primped to perfection with her dark locks perfectly styled straight and a full face of heavy makeup.

Meanwhile, former Brisbane Lions player Lachie, 33, turned heads in a questionable outfit, wearing a pair of baggy tracksuit pants and a matching black T-shirt along with socks and slip-on shoes.

The new Collingwood Magpies recruit was making his way to his new home state of Victoria, but his loyalty to the Lions was still apparent, with the midfielder carrying a backpack from the club. 

The couple appear to be going very strong, with Lachie bringing Emma to the Lions' Club Champion dinner at The Star last month.

Last year, he attended Brisbane's best and fairest with Jules, just weeks before their marriage fell apart over his alleged affair with her best friend Tess Crosley.

A year later, Emma appeared elated as she shared a photo of herself on Instagram accompanying the footy star to the dinner in place of his ex.

Emma put on quite the racy display as she attended the dinner, placing a hand on Lachie's thigh as she wore a very low cut minidress.

The black frock featured a halter-neck that dipped down her stomach and a short hem which showcased her slim pins.

Lachie also has a pet name for Emma, which was revealed when the brunette beauty shared a series of photos to social media showing the couple spending time together.

One image showed Lachie wearing his 2026 AFL Grand Final jersey while he warmly embraced Emma as the pair posed at the MCG.

Lachie beamed as he wrapped an arm around Emma, who held onto him while smiling brightly. 

Another picture showed them from behind as they strolled down a scenic garden path on a bright sunny day, clearly enjoying their time together.

Emma captioned the gallery with some telling words: 'A very fun couple of weeks.'

Lachie was quick to share his appreciation in the comments, revealing his pet name for his new partner: 'Effy x.'

The couple have made a series of increasingly public outings as Emma cements her place as the AFL's hottest new entry in the WAG rankings.

The footballer also had his partner by his side as he arrived back home after the Lions won the 2026 AFL Grand Final.

Lachie and his estranged wife Jules announced their separation in December last year after the former WAG claimed she had been betrayed 'in the most unimaginable way'.

Their marriage breakdown became the subject of intense public scrutiny amid allegations involving Jules' former close friend Tess. 

Lachie subsequently acknowledged responsibility for the split, but did not provide details about what had occurred. 

He stepped down as Brisbane co-captain in January and apologised while accepting the consequences of his behaviour.

The former couple have continued co-parenting their two children, Piper, four, and Freddie, one.

Jules, 36, returned to her hometown of Perth with the children before Christmas and recently purchased a house there.
