A release window has finally been revealed for the upcoming live-action film Voltron with Henry Cavill.
A live-action cinematic adaptation of the Voltron franchise has been in development for several years, with Amazon MGM Studios securing a distribution deal back in 2022.
According to The Wrap, Voltron will be released sometime in 2027, though a specific release date hasn't been announced yet.
Production on Voltron got underway in late 2024 and finished in mid-2025 in Australia. Rawson Marshall Thurber, who helmed Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, We're the Millers, Central Intelligence, Skyscraper and Red Notice, is the director of the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Ellen Shanman. He's also serving as a producer alongside Todd Lieberman, Bob Koplar and David Hoberman.
