Adam Blevins began working in the entertainment industry in 2022 as a Staff Writer for Agents of Fandom, where he progressed to Senior Editor and interviewed talent from Marvel Studios, House of the Dragon, and Planet of the Apes. He joined Collider as a News Author in April 2024, was promoted to a Senior position in December 2024, and has written over 3,000 articles for the site, including exclusives relating to Avengers: Doomsday, The Penguin, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and more. He primarily writes about the latest box office numbers and the hottest movies and TV shows on streaming, while also covering superhero and sci-fi news. He has completed a set visit for The Chosen and even has several months of experience writing Gaming Features at ScreenRant. You can find him on X, LinkedIn, and Muckrack.
Henry Cavill will always be known to the world for his darker performance as Superman in Zack Snyder’s DCEU, but now that he’s left the cape behind, he’s had no trouble finding other projects. Cavill was absent from the screen in 2025, but 2024 saw him star in a trio of movies, including Argylle, the Apple TV original spy thriller that flopped at the box office. Later in the year, Cavill made his brief but impactful MCU debut as a variant of Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine, the massive tentpole that grossed well over $1 billion at the global box office.
Between Argylle and Deadpool & Wolverine, Cavill also headlined The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, the World War II action epic co-starring Reacher’s Alan Ritchson. The film was directed by Guy Ritchie, who had previously worked with Cavill years prior on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. The duo are soon to reunite for a new action thriller, In The Grey, which co-stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez. After years of uncertainty, In The Grey has finally been set for release on May 15. Collider even debuted a pair of new images from the film last week as part of our Exclusive Preview Event, which included looks at nearly 100 of the hottest movies and TV shows coming out this spring.
Now, just a few months before the premiere of In The Grey, Black Bear has released the first trailer for the film. The studio also released the first official synopsis, which reads as follows:
“In The Grey follows a covert team of elite operatives who live in the global shadows, as comfortable wielding power and influence as they are with automatic weapons and high explosives. When a ruthless despot steals a billion-dollar fortune, the team is sent to steal it back on what would be, for anyone else, a suicide mission. What begins as an impossible heist gets much worse, spiraling into an all-out war of strategy, deception, and survival.”
Guy Ritchie’s New Sherlock Series Is Now Streaming
Prime Video recently debuted all eight episodes of Young Sherlock, Guy Ritchie’s new Sherlock Holmes prequel, perfect for binging. The series immediately jumped to the top of Prime Video streaming charts, and almost one full week in, it has yet to be dethroned. Prime Video has yet to decide the fate of Young Sherlock, but if the show can continue to perform beyond the first week, it will have a good chance of being renewed.
Check out the new trailer for In The Grey above and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the film.
