Miyuki Okumura is the artist responsible for designing and drawing the famous character, Cinnamoroll, who is a small white and blue puppy dog. With his simple but undeniably cute design, Cinnamoroll is one of Sanrio's most recognizable and popular characters. According to a tweet posted on her X account on Sunday, November 10, 2024, though, Okumura has left her position at Sanrio to pursue freelance art and further her education. In light of this surprising news, fans have begun to wonder how this will affect not just the character Cinnamoroll himself, but the overall Sanrio brand going forward.
