After leaking earlier this week, Helldivers 2 is officially getting a crossover with PlayStation sci-fi shooter Killzone 2, with the first batch of cosmetics for the multiplayer shooter available today.
Helldivers 2 will feature two waves of Killzone 2 content, with the first featuring cosmetics including a Helghan uniform for your freedom-toting trooper, a StA-52 assault rifle, and an assortment of capes, banners, and player titles. This is the first crossover of this kind in Helldivers 2, after developer Arrowhead said it was open to the idea if it "makes sense". Given the shared genres between the two games, Killzone seems like a good fit.
In a blog post, developer Arrowhead stressed that this content belongs to a new premium tier of content. The new weapon costs 615 Super Credits, about $6-7, while the individual armor pieces are 310-500 Super Credits each.
