Heidi Montag sizzles on the set of new music video as she holidays in Hawaii with Spencer Pratt after election loss

Spencer Pratt and wife Heidi Montag are getting back to reality following Pratt's shock loss in the Los Angeles mayoral race.

With Pratt's political ambitions dashed, Montag has now stepped up as the family breadwinner by doubling down on her successful music career.

The couple and their two sons Gunner Stone, eight, and Ryker, three, are currently on a working vacation in Hawaii to shoot Montag's next music video.

The blonde bombshell, 39, looked sensational in a floral bikini that highlighted her incredibly toned physique as she filmed scenes for the upcoming clip.

At one point she threw an aqua blue cover-up over her bikini top and leaned against a palm tree as a videographer filmed her.

Earlier this week, she shot some steamy scenes by writhing around in the sandy shore in a tight white dress.

Montag is set to perform alongside fellow pop divas Kesha and Slayyyter on July 18 at the Neon Skies Festival in Canada.

She's also working on her next album, Masterpiece, which is due out in August.

'Ultimately, I decided I'm doing this for myself and if it doesn't catch the way I'm hoping, then you know I can always go back to just being a Mom, but I really wanted to give my music one more try,' she recently told XO Divad.

The album has already produced a number of singles, including Icon, Supermodel, Step On The Gas, IV Drip, and Ex Machina.

Montag is best known for her viral hit I'll Do It, which has over 250 million streams online.

When she wasn't shooting scenes for her next music video, Montag posed with her two boys and husband Pratt, 42, for a series of family photos.

Pratt was no longer wearing his signature campaign merch, with the father-of-two now donning a baseball cap from activewear brand Arc'teryx along with a light teal polo shirt and shorts.

The setting is a world away from City Hall in downtown Los Angeles - a place Pratt was hoping to inhabit.

In the days after the primary election, the reality of Pratt going head-to-head with incumbent mayor Karen Bass seemed like a reality until progressive challenger Nithya Raman pulled ahead in the vote count, eliminating him from the race.

Former reality star Pratt decided to run for the office after his family lost their home in the Palisades during last year's wildfires and has not been shy about his displeasure with the local government.

Montag has yet to publicly address the loss but on Sunday she took to X to express her adoration for her spouse.

'I couldn’t love my husband more and be more proud of him. What an inspiration, what a hero,' she tweeted.

Pratt had remained in second place in the election until last Sunday, when Raman overcame his lead as California officials continued to count mail-in ballots.

The following night, the Associated Press announced that Raman will advance to a runoff election against incumbent Democrat Mayor Karen Bass - officially making Pratt the loser.

In California, the top two vote-getters advance to a November runoff election regardless of party.

Pratt, who once appeared on the reality television show The Hills, shook up the race, turning it into a vengeance campaign against Bass after losing his $3 million home in last year's Palisades fire.

He got a boost from user-created AI videos and his own team's creative ads, in which the MTV veteran pledged to be a change agent to tackle the city's massive homeless problem.

Over the course of his campaign, Pratt drummed up plenty of celebrity support.

Frasier's Kelsey Grammer was among the Hollywood supporters, telling Fox News Digital: 'He's the only guy that's a real option'.

Dennis Quaid echoed his sentiments, as when asked why he was supporting Spencer, he told Fox: 'Why? What are you talking about? Why? Just look around, man.'

Katharine McPhee and David Foster helped Spencer raise funds for his race, throwing him a fundraiser earlier this year.
