Heidi Klum’s Halloween 2026 Costume Is Simply Out of Hand

Heidi Klum nailed her bloodcurdling look.

In fact, at her annual star-studded party held in NYC Oct. 31, the model sent shivers through the crowd when she arrived wearing an enormous—and—severed re-creation of her own left hand, complete with her wedding ring.

"I mean literally, my left hand inspired me,” Heidi exclusively told E! News on the event’s red carpet. “I looked at my hand and I was thinking, ‘How can I fit my body into this hand? There must be a way,’ and we found a way to put my body into a hand.”

As for the details behind the process? The costume—which included a nod to her husband Tom Kaulitz—took quite a while, hands down.

“Today it was about six hours to get ready,” she explained, “but obviously my team—they spent months doing this. Many people, many hands doing this hand.”

Just a month before debuting her spine-chilling costume, the Project Runway alum teased her attire, noting it would be “very, very bloody.”

But Heidi’s latest ensemble should be no surprise since the Queen of Halloween has been pulling off extravagant looks for years. As for her petrifying ensemble last October, she sported a head to tail Medusa costume, complete with an epic tail and rattlesnakes on her head.

A mythological getup that took months to create.

"Everything is hand-painted," Heidi exclusively told E! News at the time. "About 15 people have been working on this, and I think they did a fantastic job."

And it was no easy feat since crafting the unrecognizable costumes for her and Tom—who fittingly dressed up as a Greek soldier turned to stone—was made to tip the scales.

"I've been thinking about Medusa for quite some time," Heidi noted, "because I've seen over the years obviously many, many Medusas, and I thought, you know, one day I'm going to try my own...I really wanted to have snakes that were moving, a super-ugly, super-scary face, really ugly teeth, and to be like a really long rattlesnake."

"It's one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid. It's just a great way to combine glamor, camp, color and a lot of effort for Halloween."
