The hit drama, which became one of HBO's highest-rated series, came to an end this year after three seasons. Throughout its run on the air, Euphoria won multiple awards, including twice at the Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (Zendaya). The actress also won a Golden Globe and a Critics' Choice Television Award.
Now, more than three months after the series finale aired, HBO has announced that Euphoria: The Complete Series will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on December 15. The set, which is available to pre-order now, will include all three seasons, plus the special episodes "Trouble Don't Last Always" and "F*** Anyone Who's Not a Sea Blob," and Euphoria: A Look Back, the retrospective that was released on HBO Max in July.
The Blu-ray set has 10 discs, while the DVD comes with eight discs. There will be more than four hours of special features, including the featurettes "Unfiltered with the Cast of Euphoria," "Enter Euphoria: An Inside Look at the Episodes," "Costumes, Fashion and Looks of Euphoria" and "House Tour and Set Tour With Sydney Sweeney."
Fans who prefer to buy the complete series digitally can do so on platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home.
Back in 2022, the first two seasons of Euphoria came out on DVD, but season 3 has never gotten a physical media release, which means this complete series box set is the first time that fans can own a physical copy of the final season, which ended with a major tragedy involving protagonist Rue Bennett, played by Zendaya.
Throughout the series, which was created by Sam Levinson, Rue faced a drug addiction and flirted with sobriety at times. She and her high school peers dealt with the harshness of the real world as they inched closer to adulthood. Zendaya and Sweeney's co-stars were Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elorid, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Colman Domingo and the late Eric Dane.
Levinson had multiple behind-the-scenes roles on Euphoria. Not only was he the creator of the series, but he also wrote every single script, directed almost every single episode and served as an executive producer with Ashley Levinson, Sara E. White, Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel "Future" Nur, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Mirit Toovi, Tmira Yardeni, Yoram Mokady and Gary Lennon.
Euphoria may be over, and everyone has gone their separate ways (including Zendaya, who can currently be seen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the highest-grossing film of the year so far). But come December 15, fans can relive the drama all over again with the Blu-ray and DVD release of the complete series.
