Becca Tilley and Hayley Kiyoko Engaged After 7 Years of Dating
Hayley Kiyoko is embracing her latest chapter with her pretty girl.
As the "What I Need" singer prepares for her directorial debut with Girls Like Girls next month, she shared insight into where she and fiancée Becca Tilley are when it comes to their wedding plans.
"We're enjoying our engaged life," Hayley exclusively told E! News at the Asian American Foundation's 2026 Heritage Month Awards Dinner May 14, "but we'll figure it out once the movie comes out."
Indeed, the 35-year-old—who announced her and the Bachelor alum's engagement in July 2025 after seven years of dating—is simply basking in her fiancée era amid her busy work schedule.
"It's really like magical," she emphasized during the TAAF event honoring AAPI changemakers. "I get why people, when they get engaged, they're constantly posting photos of themselves because love is so special."
"To find a partner that really sees you for who you are," she continued, "and to get to celebrate that is awesome."
She's especially grateful to have Becca—who also proposed five months after Hayley got down on one knee—by her side ahead of the June premiere of her upcoming film, based on her 2015 song of the same name. After all, Hayley came out as a lesbian at 24 with "Girls Like Girls."
"It's been a really beautiful journey because at the time, I was uncomfortable with who I was, and now I've been on stage singing 'Girls Like Girls' waving the rainbow flag," she explained. "I'm just so honored and excited for the community to get to see Girls Like Girls."
"For it to be my directorial debut, nothing will be more special than this moment," she continued. "We need queer joy and I'm so excited for people to see it."

Meanwhile, Becca—who competed for Chris Soules' final rose in season 19 and Ben Higgins' in the following installment—proved that she'll always be Hayley's biggest cheerleader.
"I get a front row seat to her work and her passion every single day," the 37-year-old wrote on Instagram earlier this month. "I have never known anyone who works harder than she does and her drive to create art (in every category) that makes people feel seen and represented is unmatched."
"I just need everyone to know how much love and hard work goes into every single thing she does," she added. "I loved getting to watch her celebrate, and this is just the beginning! My heart is bursting with love and pride for you @hayleykiyoko."
As Hayley and Becca enjoy their current chapter as fiancées, keep reading for a closer look at the couple's sweetest moments.
Scoring that First Impression Rose
"We took this picture after 5 minutes," singer Hayley Kiyoko posted on Instagram of meeting now-girlfriend Becca Tilley at the April 2018 release party for her debut studio album Expectations. "Her shirt said 'no time for romance'…..it’s been 4 years. I guess she had some time."

Private, But Not Hidden
The new couple posed together at NYLON's Annual Young Hollywood Party in May 2018, just weeks after meeting. Though they didn't post joint snaps on Instagram for years, "Hayley and I were never secret," Bachelor alum Tilley stressed on her Scrubbing In podcast. "Like, we were very much ourselves, we held hands in public, we kissed."

Back Where It All Began
When Kiyoko released her second studio album Panorama in July 2022, her girlfriend was there to sing her praises. "I am so excited for everyone to finally get to listen and get lost in this beautiful world you created in this album!" she wrote on Instagram. "You are incredible & I love you so much!"
The singer delivered a similar chorus, telling E! News at the time, "I'm so grateful to have Becca in my life. She has been an incredible partner and support system and cheerleader and honestly makes me laugh during a lot of stressful times."

Best Believe They're Still Bejeweled
When Taylor Swift added another Grammy to her collection at the 2023 awards show, Tilley and Kiyoko helped her make the whole place shimmer at her after party. "And by the way, we went out last night," Kiyoko shared on Instagram.

Feeling Fearless
They don't know how it gets better than this. Six months after partying with Swift post-Grammys, Kiyoko and Tilley took their love story to the L.A. leg of her Eras Tour on Aug. 4, 2023.
Changed For Good
"I think that being with someone who is so sure of themselves, as a partner makes you want to be like that because it made me go… Do I need to make myself smaller or make myself less than who I am to make sure [people are] happy?" Tilley (in their 2023 Wicked-themed Halloween costumes) said during a May 2024 appearance on the Made It Out podcast. "I don't want to have to do that anymore. I want to have people around me that love every part of me. I don't want to have to lessen myself for other people and she doesn't do that and I've always loved that about her."

And All Their Wishes Came True
Recognizing Kiyoko's April 3 birthday as "the VERY first step to us finding each other," Tilley wrote in a heartfelt 2024 tribute, "I love your passion… for life, for your work, for food, for the people you love. I love how much you care for people and always root for the people who need it most. I love how you want to tell me about and show me everything that inspires you and makes you laugh."
