Hayden Panettiere's neighbor reportedly claims she saw late actress removed from LA home on gurney TWICE amid troubled relationship with Brian Hickerson

A woman who lived next door to the late Hayden Panettiere in Los Angeles told Page Six she witnessed the actress being taken out of her residence on a gurney on two occasions, during her troubled relationship with Brian Hickerson.

Mia Terrazas told Page Six on Sunday that she witnessed firefighters taking Panettiere out of the West Hollywood, California residence on July 29, 2023, and January 16, 2024.

The Daily Mail was unable to reach Terrazas for further comment on the story.

Terrazas spoke with the outlet a week after Panettiere had been declared deceased August 16 at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina in what officials said was suspected as a drug 'overdose'. 

The late Heroes actress sported 'bruises' and 'bright red spots' in the 2023 and 2024 incidents, Terrazas told Page Six, adding that Hickerson had been on the site and 'glued to' the star on each occasion.

The story was corroborated to the outlet by Terrazas' daughter Vileena Koneru, who said she witnessed both incidents as her mother described them.

Hickerson's attorney declined to comment to The Daily Mail on the story. The Daily Mail has reached out to the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for further comment on the story, but not heard back yet.

Terrazas told the outlet that in the July 2023 incident, she spoke with Panettiere while she had been on the gurney, and asked the actress if she was okay, to which she said Panettiere said she was.

Koneru told Page Six that in the 2024 incident, she and her mother spoke to first responders expressing their 'concerns' about the situation.

Terrazas told the outlet that she had repeatedly heard 'muffled arguments' that were 'very hostile' coming from the unit where Panettiere resided. She noted, 'You can tell somebody's arguing just by the tonality.'

In one instance, Terrazas said she heard Panettiere 'screaming' at Hickerson in an elevator, saying, 'Just leave me alone! Just stop!'

Hickerson in April of 2021 entered pleas of no contest to a pair of felony counts of domestic abuse in an agreement after he was initially charged with eight counts of domestic violence - including assault with a deadly weapon, battery and corporal injury - in Los Angeles in July of 2020.

Hickerson received a 45-day jail sentence and probation for four years from the court, which ordered him to complete classes on domestic violence following the  pleas of no contest.

The other charges were subsequently dropped following the pleas, and Panettiere had been issued a protective order spanning five years, which had expired earlier this year.

Terrazas told Page Six that she was aware of the protective order and had reached out 'quite a few times' to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department when she saw Hickerson on the premises; and that he had been 'removed' on one occasion, but returned the following day.

Terrazas said that authorities told her that they had tried to keep Panettiere and Hickerson separated, but they continued to reunite.

'I understood their point,' Terrazas told the outlet, adding that she 'just kept calling because I was hoping I would get a different answer.'   

She added that Panettiere had been 'very subdued' and 'seemed like a different person' when Hickerson was around.

'She deserved so much better,' Terrazas said. 'I felt everybody just used her up, and she just deserved better. … I just wish I could have done more. I just can't believe I'll never see her again.'

This past May, Hickerson spoke with TMZ about past instances of domestic violence and abuse in his relationship with the actress, which she detailed in her memoir released that month, titled This Is Me: A Reckoning.  

'I got arrested for abusing her, and I wouldn't blame her friends for being pissed off with me, so I don't really have much to say on that,' said Hickerson, who was first linked to the late actress in 2018. 

He added, 'You never lay hands on a woman, bottom line.'

In the interview with the outlet, Hickerson referenced one horrifying story that Panettiere detailed in her memoir.

He said, 'There’s a story where I was drunk, right? Hayden was standing across the room and I had a phone in my hand and I said, "Hayden, I’ll give you 10 seconds to run as fast as you can before I throw it at you."' 

Hickerson continued, 'Who wants to read something about themselves, right? But you gotta be vulnerable and I did it. I did it, so.'

He said he was in 'such a dark place' involving 'drugs' and 'alcohol,' adding, 'Good God, almighty, she’s five foot two on paper, four-foot-11 in real life. I mean, come on.'

Panettiere's passing was announced Sunday by her father Skip Panettiere, who said in a statement: 'It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden.

'She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her - and to the millions who watched her onscreen. We ask for privacy as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss.'

Authorities in Greenville, South Carolina, subsequently said that officials responded to an apartment in the area after receiving a report of an 'unresponsive female' via a possible 'drug overdose,' subsequently determined to be Panettiere.

Officials, who attempted lifesaving measures prior to declaring the actress deceased, said that no signs of trauma or foul play were evident in their probe into Panettiere's death, which remains ongoing.
