Hassie Harrison (Yellowstone) is the latest cast in a series regular role in the new Baywatch TV series from Fox and Fremantle.

Harrison will play Nat, a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete who is the gold standard when it comes to lifeguarding. Brilliant, driven, and fiercely loyal, she’s the right hand and closest friend of protagonist Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell). Nat holds everyone to the same high standards she has for herself, which sometimes gets in the way of her relationships on and off the beach.

The news comes following the announcement a couple hours ago of Thaddeus LaGrone’s series regular casting as Brad. As previously announced, the cast also includes Jessica Belkin as Charlie Vale, as well as David Chokachi, who reprises his OG role of Cody Madison.

Scheduled to launch on Fox as part of the 2026–2027 season, with production kicking off in the Los Angeles area this spring, the new Baywatch finds wild-child Hobie serving as a Baywatch Captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when daughter Charlie shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy.

The original lifeguard drama hit screens in 1989, with Jeremy Jackson playing Hobie, and over the course of its original 11-season run, became the most-watched show in the world, airing in over 200 countries, and at its peak reaching more than a billion viewers every week. The series starred David Hasselhoff and also helped launch the careers of everyone from Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra to Jason Momoa and Yasmine Bleeth.

Fox Entertainment and Fremantle are co-producing, with Matt Nix (Burn Notice, The Gifted) serving as showrunner and exec producing alongside premiere episode director McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. Fox Entertainment Global holds all domestic rights, with Fremantle managing all international sales.

Best known for her recurring role as barrel racer Laramie across three seasons of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, Harrison has recently been seen starring opposite Jai Courtney in Sean Byrne’s acclaimed IFC thriller Dangerous Animals, which premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival. In high demand these days for both indies and studio projects, she recently wrapped production on the Austin-set neo-noir Deep Eddy and is currently in production on The Rescue, a modern Western thriller for Paramount, where she stars opposite Brandon Sklenar.

Upcoming, the actress is also attached to star opposite Anthony Mackie, Pablo Schreiber, Ben Foster, and Ron Livingston in the thriller Raven. She is repped by Gersh, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
