Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he has become a 'fitness freak' and has become addicted to going to the gym.
The actor, 36, said he 'might not look like someone who would be a fitness freak' but he gets 'pretty intense' about it.
The Harry Potter star told the Wall Street Journal: 'I feel like I'm a cliché of a former alcoholic or anyone who had any kind of addictive personality and then switched that addiction to being about the gym.'
Daniel explained his workout routine currently consists of weights, cardio and circuit training.
The actor, who went sober in 2013, previously admitted he turned to alcohol as a way to deal with his global fame following the success of the Harry Potter franchise.
Speaking on Off Camera With Sam Jones, Daniel told how he would drink as a 'way of forgetting' that he was being watched.

He explained: 'I really struggled with particularly in my late teens when I was going out to places for the first time where you would feel…again it could have largely been in my head but…you would feel watched when you went into a bar, when you went into a pub.
'Then, in my case, the quickest way of forgetting about the fact that you were being watched was to get very drunk and then as you get very drunk, you become aware that, oh people are watching more now because now I’m getting very drunk, so I should probably drink more to ignore that more.'
Daniel took on the role of The Boy Who Lived when he was just eleven years old, and he played the character for ten years as part of the global phenomenon.
He added: 'Part of the thing is the expectation that you should just be delighted all the time. You have a great job, you’re wealthy, you don’t have a right to not be excited about the thing all the time.
'I think that’s a pressure as well. You suddenly start to feel, "Man, if I am just feeling some human emotion of sadness, does that mean I’m doing this wrong? Am I not good at being famous?"'
He went on to credit his friends for supporting him and helping him to overcome his need for alcohol to forget, as he said: 'I have been unbelievably lucky with the people I had around me at certain times in my life.
'I met some really key people, some actors some of them not, who just gave me great advice and really cared for me.
'Ultimately it was just my own decision. I woke up one morning after a night, going, "This is probably not good."'
Daniel has had a variety of roles since the end of Harry Potter.
He most recently appeared in a live recording of the musical Merrily We Roll Along and his other film roles include The Lost City and Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.
This year he had one of his biggest TV roles to date in the sports sitcom The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.
