‘Hamster Kombat’ Telegram Game Overhaul Revealed for Season 2

1 week ago 6

Hit Telegram tap-to-earn game Hamster Kombat is set to launch a new full season later this month, following September’s token launch and airdrop, and now we know about the significant shift coming with the game’s next major phase.

While the first season of Hamster Kombat was focused on running a fictional crypto exchange, the second season will focus on building out a video game platform and developing games for it.

Hamster Kombat’s developers released a short teaser video Thursday that showed a glimpse of the Telegram mini app’s completely new interface and the activities in play.

Footage from the video shows players choosing a type of game to develop, including the genre and theme, and those activities can potentially take multiple days to complete. You’ll also need to hire team members for your studio, plus there’s still screen tapping and the familiar daily combo activity from the first season.

It’s a short glimpse, but the teaser confirms that Hamster Kombat is getting a significant overhaul for the next season without completely abandoning familiar elements from before.

Hamster Kombat’s developers told Decrypt last week that Season 2 is expected to launch in late October, and the game will have another airdrop next summer following the season.

Currently, Hamster Kombat is running a short “interlude season” where players earn in-game diamonds, which the developers said will provide some kind of benefit for Season 2.
