Halsey reveals 'powerful' male music executive scrolled through her nudes on her phone

Halsey once caught a 'powerful' music executive surreptitiously scrolling through her nudes on her phone after graciously taking a selfie with him for his niece.

'I took a selfie of the two of us and I handed him my phone and I was like, "Text it to yourself. I have to pee,"' the 30-year-old pop star recalled on Wednesday's Call Her Daddy podcast.

'And then I went to the bathroom and when I came back, he handed me my phone [face down]. And I saw he was going through my nudes on my phone.'

Halsey (born Ashley Frangipane) 'didn't even know what to do' after the 'demoralizing' incident, which she admitted happened 'quite a long time ago' in the presence of two 'older' male managers.

'I was just frozen. I was like, "Did I just imagine that? Was that an accident? Did the phone scroll up? What the heck just happened?"' the three-time Grammy nominee marveled.

'And then I was like, "Did he text them to himself and then delete the messages? I don't even know where these are now!"'

Halsey - who's sold nearly 17M records worldwide - was taken aback because she considers herself a woman with 'so much power.'

'I have a bodyguard and I have, you know, all the leverage in the world,' the Lonely Is the Muse singer explained.

'I'm in this exclusive space in this VIP, I've reached the ranks of like, "Oh, I am protected or whatever else it may be." And then this invasive thing just happens on a whim.'

Halsey continued: 'I went from being like, "Yeah, I'm like f***ing hot s*** and I'm one of the big players." And then I sat down. And when that happened, in that moment, I was like, "You're nothing. You're nothing. You'll always be nothing.

'You're still just that f***ing girl who's getting taken advantage of, or like men are talking about you behind your back, or you're some sort of like, collateral." I was like, "You're nothing." It was so demoralizing. So many worse things have happened to me than that, but that one stuck out for some reason because it was so nonchalant.'

The MaXXXine actress - who gets 44.5M monthly listeners on Spotify - was promoting her fifth studio album The Great Impersonator, which dropped last Friday.

Halsey is next scheduled to perform a live Halloween Night concert this Thursday at 9pm PT via Amazon Prime and Twitch.

On the personal front, the New Jersey native recently got engaged to Orphan Black: Echoes actor Avan Jogia, who popped the question in Barcelona where they met.

'I never wanted to be married - never,' Halsey scoffed.

'I couldn't really understand the point of marrying just from like an emotional point of

view. It was, like, "Well, if you love each other then just be together!"...I don't know, it was just something with him where I just knew I wanted to marry him. I can't even explain why you know what I mean? Because I do I love him in such a way that I feel like we would be just as fine if we didn't, but something about that makes me want to do it more.'

The Ego singer enlisted the Canadian 32-year-old to direct her 'Energy Angel' commercial for her cosmetics company About-Face Beauty back in April.

Halsey requested full primary custody of three-year-old son Ender Ridley Aydin from her five-year relationship with babydaddy Alev Aydin, which ended in April 2023.
