Hallelujah, Daredevil is Finally Born Again in March

1 week ago 7

On March 4, Daredevil: Born Again will see Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock do what he does best: protect the innocent by day and beat up criminals by night.

The Disney+ series had its start date revealed during the Marvel Fanfare panel at New York Comic-Con. There, Cox and Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio popped in to speak on filming the first of two seasons for the upcoming revival. While there, a preview for Born Again was shown to the audience, but it’s unclear if it featured wholly new footage or a replay of the D23 trailer from a few months back.

The stars of Marvel Television’s #DaredevilBornAgain, Charlie Cox & Vincent D’Onofrio, surprised fans with a special sneak peek during the #NYCC “Marvel Fanfare” panel today.

Either way, it’s been a long time coming for more Daredevil adventures. It was just a few years ago Born Again was announced with an 18-episode, two-season order, and with the cast filled out by some returning fan-favorites, interesting new faces, and recasts. Then last year, we learned the show was getting retooled with a new creative team as part of a larger acknowledgement by Marvel Studios that its TV shows up to that point weren’t fully TV shows. After a few appreciated (and fun) guest spots in other heroes’ shows, we now know when Matt’s coming back with his best buds, and what he’ll be wearing when next we see him. Most importantly, we know the show is aiming to be as violent and compelling as the original Netflix series.

Now if only Marvel had a trailer to release for everyone to see so they can really get ready for Daredevil: Born Again’s first season on March 4…
