Halle Berry gets VERY embarrassed when she thinks she's asked a lewd sexual question causing her to giggle and squirm

Halle Berry got very embarrassed on the Today show in New York City on Thursday morning.

When in the hot seat for the Pink Chair Questionnaire with Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones, the 59-year-old was asked what her 'biggest ick' was.

But when Hager said 'ick' it sounded like the word 'd*ck.'

That shocked Berry as she looked exasperated before covering her face and going into a fit of giggles while squirming in a chair.

Hager looked stunned when she realized what Berry misheard, while Jones jokingly slapped the actress with her cue cards for a comedic exchange.

'I was like, "What?" It sounded like that, didn’t it?' Berry said then Jones replied, 'No! You are naughty!'

The ladies could not stop laughing.

'It’s like the word "biggest" with the word "ick." She’s right,' Hager said in Berry’s defense.

The broadcast censored the end of Hager’s statement, as Berry once again thought she said 'd*ck.' Hager insisted she did not, exclaiming, 'Ick! I said Ick! Yes, I did!'

Next came a commercial break.

In another segment, Berry said she has never felt better in her life as she approaches her 60th birthday.

The Catwoman star said she has worked hard to get into a happy place after three marriages and two children while juggling a Hollywood career.

'I feel great... but I feel different that I thought I would feel, I feel stronger, smarter, wiser... I am the best version of myself,' noted the former Bond girl.

Berry also shared that she is grateful to still be on the A-list. 'After 35 years I still get to work in movies and do the things I love, tell stories that matter to me,' she noted.

'I haven't gone off into the sunset, I haven't fallen off. I am still here doing it on my own terms.'

Here the Oscar winner is seen on her way into the Today show on Thursday

When asked how she does so many projects at once she said it's easy for her because the work means a lot to her.

'Stories that matter to me - and as you age I think it's key to take projects relevant where you are - and I am looking for things to say what I really want to say,' she noted.

The red carpet fixture said that it's amazing 'for a middle aged woman' to be so in demand in Hollywood because her work 'matters to me.'

Then the conversation turned to her looking so great as she turns 60 on August 14.

'It is a privilege to age, so how can you do that gracefully?' she asked.

She was then told her fans are grateful that she is one of the first women to openly discuss the challenges of menopause.

'I was there, and I am just like every woman, no difference, and I realized that every woman felt this, they were just afraid to say it out loud,' she said about the uncomfortable subject of menopause.

And Berry has also been open about sex.

Berry said women 'feel afraid' to tell their male partners that sex was not 'fun for them' as maybe their 'path to an orgasm' was different than a man's.

And she said women have to talk about it with their partner and be honest as 'you can only get there together.'

The movie icon then said, 'Men can't read our minds,' so it's best to talk it out.

In February, she shocked fans when she said she doesn't 'do that anymore' after a long time putting a partner's needs before her own.

Appearing on the Sex With Emily podcast, she said: 'We had to get there so that he felt good about bringing us to orgasm. We had to say that we did it so that he would feel good about himself. Because what is that doing? That's putting his needs before our own.

'I'm like, "No, I come first like you come first to you." We both deserve to have this be a mutually enjoyable experience, so we both can roll over and go to sleep because we feel good — not one snoring and the other one looking at the ceiling, going, "What the hell?"'

Also on the Today show Berry talked about a new company she is representing: Nella.

She is now engaged to musician Van Hunt. The couple started dating in the summer of 2020. Seen in 2023

Nella is a modern, patient-friendly speculum used during pelvic exams and Pap smears. Designed as a comfortable alternative to traditional cold metal or hard plastic devices, it features a slim, tampon-like shape, a built-in LED light, and a flexible material that operates silently to reduce anxiety and discomfort.

'This is women taking our healthcare into our own hands,' she said.

And she mentioned her daughter Nahla just turned 18 and will use Nella before her first gynecological exam. The Nella spec is small and comfortable, she added, and can be purchased at Walgreens.com. 'I am all for my daughter having a good experience at 18,' she added.

Berry's spouses include Olivier Martinez (2013–2016), Eric Benét (2001–2005) and David Justice (1993–1997).
