Hailey Bieber's Sister Alaia Arrested for Assault and Battery

Alaia Baldwin Aranow's legal battle continues.

Nearly two years after Hailey Bieber's older sister was arrested following an altercation at a nightclub in Savannah, Georgia, she was officially charged with four criminal misdemeanors.

Aranow, 33, was charged with simple battery, simple assault, battery and criminal trespass in Chatham County on Jan. 26, according to court records obtained by E! News. Her arraignment is scheduled for April 23.

E! has reached out to Aranow's attorneys for comment and has not yet heard back.

The eldest daughter of Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin was arrested Feb. 24, 2024, after alleged interactions with three employees at Club Elan—bouncers Ian O'Neill and Jacinto Hills, as well as bartender Haleigh Cauley—per a police report following the incident obtained by E!.

Security footage, according to the police report, showed Aranow "forcing her way into the locked employee bathroom," despite being told to use the public restroom next to it.

Cauley said in the police report that Aranow told her that "she needed to change her tampon and asked for a few minutes, which she was granted." She alleged that Aranow then "removed her tampon and threw it" at her.

"From there, Ms. Aronow is seen exiting the restroom and immediately being escorted from the building by Mr. O'Neill and Mr. Hills," the docs continued. "Ms. Aronow can be seen fighting and resisting the entire way outside. The video clearly shows Ms. Aronow grabbing and pulling Mr. O'Neill's hair and her hitting Mr. Hills in the genitals."

Police arrived on the scene after receiving a call "regarding a female being removed from a club, who wanted to speak with PD."

For Aranow's part, according to the report, she "denied forcing her way into the bathroom, only stating she needed to use the restroom to throw up and change her tampon."

"She also initially denied throwing her used tampon at Ms. Cauley but later stated she did throw it," the report added. "When confronted about her pulling Mr. O'Neill's hair out and hitting Mr. Hill in the genitals, Ms. Aronow attempted to justify her action by stating she was defending herself."

Aranow was then arrested on charges of simple assault for allegedly throwing a used tampon at Cauley, simple battery for hitting Hill in the genitals, battery for pulling O'Neill's hair out and criminal trespass for not exiting the club after being asked to leave.

Her attorney Drew Findling addressed the incident at the time, noting that Aranow was in the area to celebrate a friend's upcoming nuptials.

"Sadly, what should have been a celebratory girls night out, unfortunately took an unexpected turn," he told TMZ in a statement. "Ms. Aronow is embarrassed and saddened by the events of that night and is proactively taking the necessary steps to ensure that it never happens again."
