Grammys 2026: FKA Twigs Debuts Fiery Red Hair Transformation

FKA Twigs has got to feel good with this look.

After all, the "Love Crimes" singer swapped out her signature long dark tresses for dazzling red locks at the 2026 Grammys on Feb. 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Twigs stepped out in a beige custom Paolo Carzana gown that complemented her spiky, half-up, half-down hairstyle. She accessorized the ensemble with a book that she revealed to E!: Live From the Grammys' Keltie Knight, is an "ode" to her album Eusexua. (See more celebs on the red carpet here.)

The 38-year-old is already having a golden evening as she won Best Dance/Electronic Album during the Grammys Premiere Ceremony at the Peacock Theater ahead of the official telecast.

"I didn't expect to come up here," she admitted as she accepted the golden gramophone. "I was just so happy to be nominated and in such an incredible category."

Before stepping off the stage, Twigs shared endearing advice for any struggling creatives.

"I know that to a lot of people, I may be new," she reflected. "But I've actually been doing this a really long time. So, to any artist: Don't give up. Follow your vision. Do you, because that's what's gonna make the world fall in love with your art."

And for the "Sushi" singer, that also means leaning into whatever inspires her when it comes to her looks.

"I love creating different characters with my hair," she told British Vogue in 2022. "I loved my blonde dreads, but I didn't feel as grounded, so now I've gone dark. I just didn't think that's who I am."

As she explained of her decision, "You just have to do it for yourself."

Thanks to the support around her, she's always down to push the envelope with her style.

"In the last five to 10 years since I've been in the industry, I've been celebrated for the beauty choices that I make, and the way that I present myself and the way that I do my hair," she explained. "I'm also celebrated because of the colour of my skin."
