Grammy Awards 2025: Taylor Swift Confirmed as a Presenter
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are singing a hopeful tune at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
As Los Angeles continues to feel the impact of the devastating wildfires, the “Die With a Smile” collaborators delivered a moving tribute to the city and those impacted by the blazes during the Feb. 2 ceremony as they took to the stage to perform a rousing rendition of The Mamas & the Papas' 1965 classic "California Dreamin'" at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena.
During the heartfelt number, Gaga opted for a cream-colored look with a flowing flower-patterned dress and gloves, completing the look with a matching hat over her long black hair. Meanwhile, Bruno wore a complementary beige blazer and white dress shirt with dark dress pants and a beige cowboy hat.
The duo's performance was just one tribute acknowledging the tragedy, as the show began with a star-studded performance of Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.” led by Taylor Goldsmith, who lost the home he shared with wife Mandy Moore amid the fires.
Prior to the ceremony, Best New Artist nominee Teddy Swims—who also performed at the event—shared how moved he was by the recovery efforts already underway.
“You can always see the real, inherent goodness of people when a tragedy happens that affects us all,” he exclusively told E! News. “I'm just so proud to be living in L.A. and be a part of this music community—and this community in general—that helps and that cares and comes together during a tragic moment like this. It makes me happy for humanity.”

Leading up to the show, numerous pre-Grammy parties were cancelled in light of the destruction, while the condensed event schedule was refocused toward supporting ongoing relief efforts. In addition, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. announced that this year’s telecast would contain a fundraising element to “show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need.”
“We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time,” he said in a statement Jan. 24, “to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”
