Gore Verbinski's new sci-fi thriller is unlocking its own streaming multiverse in a good way.

The filmmaker was responsible for putting the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise on the map after helming the first three movies and projects like the horror film The Ring. After a strong showing in the 2000s, Verbinski became more selective with his projects in the 2010s. However, after the critical and commercial failure of A Cure for Wellness and the unmade Gambit movie, the director didn't work on a new feature movie for nearly nine years until recently, with his time-traveling flick Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die.

Now, the new thriller is performing exceptionally well on streaming after just one day. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die is currently no. 1 on Hulu's streaming charts, ahead of Million Dollar Nannies, General Hospital, and the UK's Long Island. It's also making a presence across streaming platforms, as it just cracked Disney+'s movie charts at No. 10. Meanwhile, every Toy Story movie dominated the top 5 charts since the fifth movie just dropped in theaters.
