2 days ago 6

A new year means a Fresh new awards season, and we’re kicking 2025 off with the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards. We’ll soon find out if Wicked will defy the competition and win Best Picture (Musical or Comedy), or if Jesse Eisenberg will nab his first Golden Globe as a director and screenwriter.

With The Brutalist getting seven noms and Conclave receiving six, let’s see which film, and which director, will take home the top prize. Edward Berger (Conclave) and Brady Corbet (The Brutalist) are both nominated for Best Director alongside Coralie Fargeat (The Substance), Payal Kapadia (All We Imagine As), Jacques Audiard (Emilia Pérez), and Sean Baker (Anora).

Hosted by Nikki Glaser, the ceremony is airing live on CBS Sunday, Jan. 5 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, in addition to streaming on Paramount+ in the United States. Check back for the full list of winners below as they are announced!
