He rocked a tux for his first James Bond outing 30 years ago, and on Tuesday night Pierce Brosnan kicked off the pre-BAFTA celebrations with a new twist on his classic look.

Pierce Brosnan, Aidan Turner and Jessica Brown Findlay led the British acting talent at the Dunhill & BAFTA film makers dinner in celebration of BAFTA Elevate.

A dapper Pierce, 71, showed off his sense of style as he paired his tux with a pair of quirky tinted glasses.

The Golden Eye star added another fashion forward twist to his look with his blue bow tie as he posed up a storm for the cameras at The Club at Bourdon House.

Poldark hunk Aidan pulled off his own stylish ensemble, pairing tartan trousers with a red velvet jacket.

And Downton Abbey favourite Jessica wowed in a stunning strapless pale pink gown for the glam night out.

She teamed the satin dress with a red headband with netted veil, matching her headpiece to her bold red coat.

The event was held to reveal the 20 documentary and specialist factual trailblazers selected to join BAFTA Elevate, a bespoke programme of professional development.

A distinguished jury of industry experts led by Hilary Rosen, Chair of BAFTA’s Television Committee and UKTV, Director of Commissioning, selected 20 outstanding UK-based development producers, producers, directors and producer-directors.

These talented individuals, who identify as minority ethnic, disabled and/or from low socio-economic backgrounds, will receive two years of invaluable support to accelerate their careers.

Meanwhile, the EE BAFTA 2025 Awards will take place in London on Sunday night to celebrate the year's best films and the creative talent who bring them to life.

After six years of being held at the Royal Albert Hall, the star-studded ceremony moved to a new home in 2023 – the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall - where it will once again take place.

The EE BAFTA Film Awards encompass 25 competitive categories which are decided by BAFTA members.

The show will feature some exciting new updates including a new Children’s & Family Film category which will celebrate the very best films appealing to inter-generational audiences.
