Larry Emdur has broken his silence on allegedly being stalked by an obsessed fan after reports emerged he is 'living in fear'.

The Morning Show host, 59, took to Instagram on Monday to slam tabloid magazines for putting out sensationalised headlines on the matter.

He assured fans he is 'fine' and still 'in a Logies afterglow' before adding that headlines claiming he and his family are 'in danger' are 'just not right'.

'I just wanted to jump on and iron something out very quickly. There's a whole lot of noise in the magazines about this,' Emdur said in the clip.

The Chase host then held up a magazine to show the column written about his alleged stalker and reports the NSW Police took out an AVO to protect Emdur.

'"Stalker warned. Leave Larry alone!"' Emdur read. 'This whole thing. It's a whole big deal. "Larry Emdur, living in fear." I just wanted to let you know, I'm fine!

'I'm beyond fine. I'm still very much in a Logies afterglow and loving it! The Morning Show is going great, The Chase is going great, my whiskey is going great.

'Everything in my life is absolutely fantastic. So, when you read something like this, "Larry Emdur living in fear! His family in danger," it's not right.'

He added: 'It's not what's going on in my life... Anyway, thank you for your concern. I am completely 100 per cent fine. It is absolutely business as usual.'

It comes just days after Daily Mail Australia revealed the real reason Emdur disappeared from The Morning Show after news broke of an alleged stalker.

The Gold Logie winner was absent from his breakfast show last Wednesday after reports Victorian man Rodney Pearce allegedly tried to enter the Seven building.

However, network insiders have since assured Daily Mail Australia that Emdur was on a pre-arranged break from The Morning Show to film the next season of The Chase.

They said the tireless entertainer remains in good spirits and was hoping to 'get on with the job' with minimal distractions.

NSW Police were called to Seven's Eveleigh headquarters at about 11.15am on August 22, after Victorian man Rodney Pearce allegedly attempted to enter the building.

'Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command attended and spoke with a 52-year-old man who had been escorted from the building by security,' NSW Police said.

Pearce was arrested and taken to hospital for assessment before he was then taken to Surry Hills Police Station.

He was charged with trespass and possession of a prohibited drug.

Pearce faced Downing Centre Local Court where he was granted conditional bail and is due to reappear on September 5.

His conditions include not entering Central Ave, the suburb of Haymarket, or coming within 200 metres of Channel Seven.

The 52-year-old has also been ordered to report to Redfern Police Station daily.

Court records show the AVO in protection of Emdur is set to be mentioned in court on September 16.

The arrest came just days after Emdur took the top gong at the 2024 Logies on August 18.

After four decades on the screen, the television personality finally took home the Gold Logie and his first Silver Logie.
