The follow-up to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has teased that it’s now in production with the release of a clever ad campaign. In the video featured below, you get a glimpse at a desk with a phone number to report titan sightings to Monarch and the reveal of the film’s title: Godzilla x Kong: Supernova

Which to us sounds like they might be going to space—they must be!

Watch the video below for the tease on the Monsterverse film now in production that’s due out in 2027.

The phone number in the video leads to a recording encouraging fans to sign up for text message updates, but still it’s nice to see immersive marketing be used again in small ways.

Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is directed by Grant Sputore (I Am Mother) from a working script by Michael Lloyd Green. Not much is known about the plot yet, as Warner Bros. and Legendary have only released a brief description: “The next entry will feature several new human characters alongside the beloved and iconic Titans Godzilla and Kong as they face off against a cataclysmic world-ending threat.”

The film brings back Dan Stevens (Abigail) as fan-fave Dino Ace Ventura type Trapper. It also features a new ensemble of human characters including Kaitlyn Dever (The Last of Us), Jack O’Connell (Sinners), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Fear the Walking Dead), Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), Matthew Modine (Stranger Things), Delroy Lindo (Sinners), and Dave Callaham (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings). Surprisingly not mentioned are Kong’s guardians Jia and Dr. Andrews, played by Kaylee Hottle and Rebecca Hall in previous installments of the franchise.
