It's Godzilla’s world, and we're just lucky enough to live in it. For 70 plus years, The King of the Monsters has been in countless beloved movies while being featured in comic books, video games and TV shows. As a roaring result, Godzilla has also been donating action figures and the collectible market. Especially with the American MonsterVerse and Godzilla Minus One, making this pop culture icon even bigger. Now, Super7 has returned with a new figure line that will make your monster-loving heart blush.

A part of their Fun! Fun! series of 5-inch vinyl figures, Super7 has introduced four new adorable Godzilla figures. The versions of this classic Kaiju include Godzilla from 1989’s Godzilla vs. Biollante, Mechagodzilla from 1993’s Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II and two versions of Godzilla from 2023’s critically-acclaimed spectacle Godzilla Minus One. The latter are a normal color edition and an Amazon exclusive black and white figure based on Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color. The figures are set to be released this March for $25 USD each.

Godzilla Continues His Monstrous Reign

This decade has seen historic resurgences for some of cinema’s most beloved characters, but arguably none have been as celebrated as Godzilla. The King of Monster’s first film of the 2020s, 2021’s Godzilla vs Kong, single-handedly saved the MonsterVerse from extinction with a stellar box office preference and very positive word of the month. That goodwill bled into its sequel, 2024’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and the character's first live-action series titled Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. This MonsterVerse series is currently filming Season 2 for Apple TV+ while New Empire's sequel is ramping up pre-production. That's after New Empire became the highest grossing Godzilla film of all-time.

However, outside the MonsterVerse, Toho’s latest Japanese film, Godzilla Minus One, quickly became the best reviewed of the franchise. With a returned focus on horror, Minus One would make over $110 million worldwide before becoming the first film in the franchise to win an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. Both this and the MonsterVerse’s new entries were the perfect ways to celebrate Godzilla’s 70th birthday last year. These amazing successes led to a new generation of fans gravitating towards the franchise with massive waves of toys, t-shirts and physical media editions of some of the series’ most popular films.

Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire are currently streaming on Netflix. New Empire is also streaming on Max. Before your next Kaiju-themed marathon, you can pre-order Super7 Fun! Fun! Godzilla figures on Super7's website.
