Gladiators stars Livi Sheldon and Ella-Mae Rayner looked almost unrecognisable as they swapped their lycra for glam gowns at the TV Choice Awards on Monday night.

Personal trainer and former professional bodybuilder Livi, 31, - known as Diamond on the show - caught the eye in a strapless black dress which showed off plenty of leg.

She completed her look with leather boots and put on a confident display posing up a storm for the cameras.

Meanwhile Comet star Ella-Mae opted for a high-neck grey dress and looked worlds away from her sporty appearance on the show.

She added stylish silver heels to her outfit and wore her brunette tresses in loose curls while opting for glamorous makeup.

The stars of some of the biggest and most talked about television series are arriving for this year's TV Choice Awards.

Since its return in January 2024, Gladiators' reboot has become a huge hit for the BBC, with its third series set to hit screens in 2026.

Last year Gladiators was left in chaos after four of the athletes were are injured during filming for the new series.

Professionals, Legend, Diamond, Bionic and Athena, all suffered injuries during the competition.

Livi suffered a knee injury, rupturing her ACL and MCL during filming.

Legend (Matt Morsia) has tore a bicep, while Bionic (Matty Campbell) dislocated his shoulder and Athena (Karenjeet Kaur Bains) also injured her knee.

In an update to Instagram, Livi explained last summer: 'Hey Tribe I've got a life update — and unfortunately, it's not the news I was hoping to share.'

She continued: 'While filming Gladiators, I suffered a full ACL and MCL rupture. One moment I was in full action, the next I was facing surgery and a brand-new challenge: recovery.

'It's never easy hitting pause on something you love, but this isn't the end of my journey — it's just a detour. I've been through tough battles before, and every time I've come back stronger and this time is no different.

'I'm going to need all the support I can get, and I'll be sharing this journey with you every step of the way. If my experience can help even one person facing their own challenges, it'll make this journey even more meaningful.

'Now, after having my surgery, I'm ready to attack this rehab with everything I've got & more because being unbreakable is more than strength or how powerful you are — it's about how you rise after you fall.

'And every step I take now is building the comeback that will define me. It's never about the setback - it's always about the comeback.'
