Giddy Ben Affleck smiles at the mere mention of ex Jennifer Garner as she surpasses his wealth

Ben Affleck couldn't help but smile at the mention of his ex-wife Jennifer Garner while out in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Affleck, 53 – who starred in a Dunkin Donuts Super Bowl commercial – flashed a wide grin when Garner's, 53, name was brought up by a photographer.

The former Alias star recently surpassed her ex-husband in wealth as her Once Upon A Farm food company launched its Initial Public Offering (IPO) at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) last week.

The brand's value is now nearly $845 million while the Oscar-winning filmmaker's net worth is estimated to be between $55 and $150 million according to conflicting reports from Forbes and Celebrity Net Worth.

While out and about, Affleck wore dark blue jeans, a navy shirt, and a light gray jacket, adding matching sneakers.

His grizzled beard was neatly trimmed and his hair was cut short.

Affleck and Garner were married for 10 years before announcing their separation in 2015 and finalizing their divorce in 2018.

They share Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 13, who was by his mom's side at NYSE on Friday for her brand's IPO. 

The actress joined Once Upon A Farm – which produces clean baby food & kids' snacks – as a co-founder in 2017.

She told Good Morning America in 2023, 'We are trying to be an ally for moms.'

Last month the mom of three opened up about parenthood while promoting a collaboration between Once Upon A Farm and Carter's.

'I just have so much heart for young parents and how much you want to do everything right,' she told People magazine. 'I've been there. I know that pressure.'

The kids' clothing line features bold prints of bananas, strawberries, and avocados, intended to make children who wear it more familiar with healthy foods.

'We always talked about the importance of playful, colorful designs over at Once Upon a Farm,' she told the outlet.

Affleck recently opened up about raising kids as a public figure.

'You put something on your children when you have a public life and that's complicated,' he told E! News in January.

'We really want to give them room to figure out what they want to do,' he said about not pressuring their children into any particular career.

He continued: 'I wouldn't push them into that. They're brilliant and lovely and wonderful and we love them and we're proud of them. And hope that they don't waste their life acting.'

Samuel and Fin are full-time students, while Violet – who is studying at Yale University – has found a passion in activism.
