He has made no secret of the fact he is well and truly over his Married At First Sight experience.

And groom Scott McCristal, 33, proved it in emphatic style on Saturday night, hosting a raucous 'divorce party' on board luxury super yacht Queen Royal in Melbourne.

The Gold Coast-based groom was seen beaming from ear to ear as he celebrated the end of his on-screen marriage to Gia Fleur in the only way a Gold Coast finance broker knows how.

The tattooed reality star, who exclusively told Daily Mail on Saturday that going public with stunning new girlfriend Brienna Stockdale was his way of closing the MAFS chapter 'one hundred per cent,' appeared to be taking that brief very seriously.

Dressed head-to-toe in black - fitted polo, tailored trousers, Louis Vuitton belt - Scott looked every inch the affable host as he posed and partied against a dramatic backdrop of red and black floral arrangements that set the party mood.

Scott was joined on the water by a close group of mates including MAFS co-stars David Momoh, Joel Moses, Steven Danyluk and Sammy Stanton.

David, who was paired with Alissa Fay, cut an equally striking figure in an all-black ensemble complete with crystal-framed sunglasses and open-collar shirt, commanding the deck with the kind of energy that suggests he too has zero regrets.

The group posed together in front of the yacht's spectacular floral wall, all matching black outfits against the deep red roses, drinks in hand and grins firmly in place.

Meanwhile, outspoken groom Joel defied the rules in a crisp cream suit, pointing at the camera, looking every bit like a man whose divorce proceedings just came through.

But it was not all boys on deck.

Scott was also photographed getting very cosy with new girlfriend Brienna.

She stunned in a plunging black dress, the pair sharing what appeared to be a kiss as she flashed a peace sign at the camera - Louis Vuitton bag in tow, smile firmly in place.

The timing of the celebration is not lost on anyone following Scott's post-MAFS journey closely.

Scott sat down with Daily Mail to reveal his new relationship with the Gold Coast registered nurse and model with 145,000 Instagram followers who administered his Botox before he even set foot in the experiment.

In that interview, Scott described his marriage to Gia as defined by emotional manipulation, belittling comments and chronic dishonesty - admitting the relationship had reduced him to 'a shell.'

'I'll never let someone walk over me again,' he vowed.

Scott revealed the pair have been quietly seeing each other since the start of the year after reconnecting following his dramatic split from his on-screen bride in October.

'I don't want to hide it anymore,' Scott said. 'I want to be able to show my girlfriend, because I'm proud of her. I'm proud of the relationship I have.'

Asked whether publicly debuting Brienna marked the end of his MAFS chapter, Scott was definitive.

'One hundred per cent,' he said.

Scott explained that while he had known Brienna casually before the show, romance didn't blossom until after filming wrapped.

'She did my Botox,' he said. Scott decided to make his move with what he admits was a playful excuse.

'Just after the start of the year I messaged her and said, "Have you got some face cream at the clinic?"' he laughed.

'There was my subtle way-in. But she knew I was full of it.'

That message sparked a romance that quickly escalated.

Their first date included stand-up paddleboarding at Tallebudgera Creek, followed by dinner on the Gold Coast.

'We had a wholesome time,' Scott said.

'We hit it off from there.'

The pair only made things official last week.

For Brienna, Scott's personality was an immediate attraction.

'His loud, bubbly personality,' she told Daily Mail on Saturday.

Scott said their relationship feels completely different from his previous experience on MAFS.

'Trust, respect, gratefulness - the politeness I get, and just the understanding of Brie,' he said.

Saturday night's super yacht extravaganza, it is fair to say, represents a fairly definitive statement of intent.

Guests arrived dressed to impress, the all-black dress code lending the night an atmosphere somewhere between a celebration and a very stylish send-off to one of reality television's most turbulent chapters.
