Ghosts season 6 will see one of its newer cast members getting upgraded to a regular, as Sam's counterpart takes on a bigger role in the CBS series.

At the 2026 San Diego Comic Con Ghosts panel, where Screen Rant is in attendance, the series announced that former Superstore star Ben Feldman, who began a guest arc on the series during the show's fourth season, will get to expand Kyle's role in the coming season, which is set to air in early 2027 after the show's upcoming holiday specials. Feldman will become a series regular, bringing a different flair to Sam's (Rose McIver) story.
