Newegg's combo bundles are putting in the work in trying to offset the RAM price rises and offer PC building enthusiasts an actual option for buying memory at a price that doesn't feel like you're giving up a kidney for the privilege. Similar to some other recent deals we've covered with combo bundles from Newegg, today's offer brings the price of this 32GB SK hynix V-Color Manta XSky DDR5-6400 RAM kit from $499.99 to $150 when you purchase it together alongside the brand-new AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D CPU. You're basically still paying full price for the AMD processor, though, at $499. But getting both the 32GB of SK hynix V-Color Manta XSky DDR5-6400 RAM and AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D for $650, a saving of $348.99 if you were to buy the items separately at their list price.

In our benchmark testing, the 9850X3D entered our charts above the 9800X3D, outperforming its predecessor. Although the 9850X3D is faster, it does require more power and outputs more heat. The difference in price between the two processors is only $30, but if you want those few percentage points of performance difference, then it's a no-brainer.

This Newegg combo deal featuring the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D CPU paired with 32GB of SK hynix V-Color Manta XSky DDR5-6400 RAM is another way of picking up precious memory at a less inflated price point. It's only the barebones of a new system, but it's the start of something very powerful - as long as you can find an appropriate graphics card to go along with it. Not overpaying for your memory means there is more funds available for other components.
