Georgia Toffolo has reflected on her 'high stress year' as she admitted she has been 'stuck in fight or flight for too long'.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 31, has been open about her difficult fertility journey this year, revealing last month that she is 'still not pregnant' after 11 months of trying to conceive with husband James Watt.

Meanwhile her millionaire BrewDog husband James also came under fire this year when his beer brand racked up debts of more than £500million before collapsing into administration.

And now Georgia has revealed she has struggled to deal with the stress as she asked fans for advice and tips on how to truly switch off during a holiday.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the star got candid with her followers as she began: 'Me being me has done a deep AI analysis on my stress year because to be really honest with you, I have been struggling with calming down.

'I think my nervous system is just always on, and as a person, I'm very all or nothing. So with work this year, I've been pretty crazy.'

Georgia has revealed she has struggled to deal with the stress as she asked fans for advice and tips on how to truly switch off during a holiday

Revealing she connected her calendar and Oura ring to the analysis, the results showed that even on holiday, when you would think she would be most relaxed, she is actually stressed.

She explained: 'Often the times where you would think I would be most relaxed, i.e. when we went to Lake Como, actually was in a state of high stress all day.

'I think that's because I put so much pressure on myself when I am off work, physically away from my home and away from the country, to create loads of content, get on it, strategize for the next quarter, do reviews of stuff. You know, like all these things.

'I don't lean into a holiday enough because that's the point of it, right? Whereas I see a holiday as an opportunity to enrich up, push harder, reset ready to go back. And actually, I need to learn the art of doing absolutely nothing, which I find incredibly difficult.'

She continued: 'I think in my core, I'm just an addict. It doesn't mean an addict in a bad way. It means that I become addicted to creating bigger businesses, being better as a person.

'I find balance very, very difficult in my life, and I always have done. Which I think is a bit of a gift. I think it can be a beautiful gift if harnessed correctly.'

Addressing her fertility issues she added: 'I can go weeks with not noticing that I've been in a state of fight or flight, which, when trying to conceive, we all know is probably not where we need to be.

'Really trying this week to just do my content because it makes me happy and I love it. But try not to do everything else at the same time. I don't need to sit by the beach with a big A4 piece of paper strategizing Q4.

'I need to be sat by the beach, maybe journaling, not thinking that's a bl***y waste of time, and leaning into the calm and the quiet, and looking at the sky and the sea, and feeling nourished. I really struggle, guys.'

The couple have now jetted off to Greece for a relaxing holiday as she shared an array of stunning snaps

Georgia added in the caption: 'Stressful because I put MYSELF under so much pressure to do too much, make everything perfect for everyone and I often forget about me'

Georgia added in the caption: 'Let me be honest with you all… I have had quite a high stress year.

'Stressful because I put MYSELF under so much pressure to do too much, make everything perfect for everyone and I often forget about me! Times where I might appear relaxed on socials… in reality I’ve been stuck in fight or flight for too long.

'I’m hoping to spend this holiday de-stressing. Me time and RELAX (so hard for me tbh) Does anyone have any advice on how to relax and someone who infamously cannot?'

The couple have now jetted off to Greece for a relaxing holiday – yet it seems Toff is already struggling to switch off as she shared a snap of herself reading A Barrister Of The Earth which explores how legal systems can rise to protect life on Earth.

She wrote: 'First 24 hours in Greece round up. Already on the grind…'

Georgia has been open about her fertility struggles in recent months, explaining that sharing with her followers and hearing their stories has helped her on her journey.

In her latest update last month Toff took to Instagram to share: 'Everyone knows what I'm gonna say, I'm still not pregnant.

'Cut a long story short, we are on to month 11 of trying, which I never – I don't know why I thought I was special and different and lucky and all these things – but I never thought that by month 11, we would still be trying for a baby.

'I just had it in my head, I thought the baby would have arrived by now.'

Toff then explained that she had been unsettled by the news that it's considered to be 'unexplained infertility' after 12 months of trying, with her heart 'going funny' at the fact she might reach that milestone in a few weeks.

Toff continued: 'It's so tough. My way of making me feel better is to talk quite openly about it and just be like "it's s***" and have a bit of a laugh.

'But I'm also quite cautious to not use my humor or my very sunny positive outlook on life to diminish the impact of what it's having on us because it is so sad.'

She went on to note that she feels lucky that she hasn't conceived and miscarried, but added: 'At the same time, it's like that barren desert of nothingness, which makes me really scared.'

Yet she revealed she was remaining optimistic with 'a crazy amount of faith', musing: 'Maybe sometimes you have the same amount of good luck and bad luck, and this is our swing of bad luck.'

Toff went on to thank her followers for sharing their stories and giving her some advice, before welling up and saying: 'The only thing I get upset about is our little family and how – I don't know how to put it – how excited everyone is for this next chapter, and the chapter's not starting.

'There's a part of me that feels like my body's failing all the time.'

She admitted she had begun to question if she was the problem, because James, 44, has two daughters from his marriage to Johanna Basford, yet they had both been tested and doctors couldn't find anything wrong.

Toff then mused if her infertility was because she hasn't 'created enough emotional safety' for herself, adding: 'If I ever get a positive pregnancy test, it will be forever the best moment of my life.

'And I'm just gonna try and be as calm and as trusting as possible until I pray that day comes. But we are so ready.

'I'm gonna pray and I'm gonna hope and I'm gonna wish. But just like what an amazing life lesson when I can zoom out and be objective about it. We're not in control.'
