Georgia Toffolo has admitted she's been battling a skin condition for 20 years and says she 'hides behind make-up to gain the confidence she needs to live her life.'

The newly engaged former Made in Chelsea star, 30, decided to share honest photos with her followers.

She wrote on Instagram on Thursday: 'An honest skin check in to remind anyone else who struggles as I have done for almost 2 decades now that you’re not alone. Not my most “likeable” post but a jolly important one! Please swipe…

'If you scroll down my feed you’d be forgiven for thinking I have perfect skin.

'I hide behind an enormous amount of products which give me the confidence to live my life normally. I’m not ashamed to admit that either.

'If you’d have told me when I got my first spots aged 12 that at 30 I’d still be struggling I wouldn’t have been able to process it. Alas, here I am! Good lighting and mega make up will be my forever best friends'.

She added: 'They really don’t bother me as much as they used to and this might sound odd to people who have clear skin but this is the best my skin has been in years so I am quite happy.

Georgia then completed her post by asking for advice from those who follow her, adding that she would be 'really grateful' for any advice'.

She said: 'I adore reading recommendations that have worked for you whether that be dietary, hormonal or products that have helped so I’d be really grateful if you shared.

Georgia revealed her engagement to BrewDog co-founder James Watt while on holiday at the end of October

James's BrewDog brewery and pub chain is worth some £2billion

Georgia's stunning, diamond-studded engagement ring estimated to be worth £200,000

‘I mean, I think it is the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen. I can’t quite believe it. I’m still pinching myself that that is on my hand. I had no idea how James was going to propose, but he said months ago, “What [ring] would you like if we were to get engaged?” And I was like, “Oh my God, I know exactly what I want!”

‘So he then said, “Why don’t we pick it together?” I know lots of people think there needs to be a surprise, but I think it’s a lot of pressure on a man to get something like that correct.’

She added: 'He’s so clever. I’ve never met anyone like him, and I’ve met a lot of really successful people. I feel really fortunate to have him as my confidant.’

The pair have been together since the summer of 2023, when the pair were set up on a blind date.
