Party planning for the stars is no easy task.
Dealing with last-minute reservations and high-maintenance personalities is all part of the job that President of IE Group Jeff Krauss knows all too well.
With two decades of entertainment production under his belt, the New York native says he mostly works with clients who are 'very nice' and 'actually humble,' but every now and then 'egos come into play or things happen.'
Krauss, 44, has developed an impressive Rolodex and his personal Instagram seemingly boasts as many stars as the Hollywood Walk of Fame, something he claims has 'taken years of just really grinding and working hard and building trust with celebrities' agents and managers.'
He made the comments in an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, as he spilled on celebrity peculiarities and the demands from some of the industry's biggest names - including the requests that have left a bad taste in his mouth.
George Clooney, who Krauss insisted was one of the nicest people he has worked with, doesn't like to be secluded from the rest of the restaurant guests on a night out.
Celebrity party planner Jeff Krauss of IE Group spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail about what some of the biggest names in Hollywood demand for their ideal fête
He 'usually prefers to sit in the main dining area, at a table that’s slightly secluded so he has his own space while still being able to enjoy the atmosphere,' Krauss told us.
'A private room generally isn’t his preference unless other people in the group would rather have one.'
Hilaria Baldwin, wife of Alec Baldwin, also likes a very specific seating arrangement when going to ZOI Nomad. 'She loves the corner table and always orders the fish,' Krauss said.
When it comes to the actual food, Krauss claimed Traitors host Alan Cumming is very particular about his dietary requirements, always opting for vegan food or a 'vegan-friendly' restaurant if he's with a group.
Meanwhile Conor McGregor 'loves his steakhouses and cigars' and no one complains about his asks because the generous MMA fighter is 'known to leave tips in the thousands when he has had a good experience,' Krauss said.
Not all celebrity clients are a delight, though.
Krauss spilled on some unfortunate situations he has dealt with, but was hesitant to name-drop because he 'doesn't want the negative energy coming back' to him.

For instance, the event expert shared that he once helped book a mystery A-lister for a fan convention in New York. The contract was already signed, the deposit was submitted, and then he heard from the star's agent about his 'outrageous' demands.
In their rider, which is a list of personal requests that can often include food choices, the mystery celeb insisted he get an all-expenses-paid one-week vacation in New York City, a rocking chair in his suite, a stationary bike and private travel.
'The whole thing was so outrageous because he was only being paid to show up for a one or two day commitment of meet-and-greet with the convention,' Krauss said.
'But he expected the convention to basically pay this rider that would've been more money than what he was even getting.'
The deal fell through, and Krauss said that people would be shocked to learn the identity of this individual, as he is an actor who is still currently working in the business and has a very 'charismatic' reputation.
But bad behavior is not just restricted to actors. He has known many a difficult musician.
He said a 'huge' DJ was once booked to play at a venue at a specific time, but ran so late at his dinner that everyone was on edge about whether he would show up.
'I internally was freaking out,' Krauss said, 'but I had my poker face on so that people didn't know that and I could be strong for everybody else, so to speak.
Krauss has been working for two decades, producing events for pop stars like the Backstreet Boys (pictured) to Nicole Scherzinger and Mel B of the Spice Girls
'It's really taken years of just really grinding and working hard and building trust with celebrities' agents and managers,' Krauss told the Daily Mail (pictured with Christina Aguilera)
'I was calling his team. I was calming the owner down. I was trying to just reassure people that he was going to be coming. We were just coming up with anything that would distract people from the fact that he wasn't there.'
When the mystery DJ finally showed, Krauss was mum about how much he had inconvenienced everyone else because 'all we were thinking about was pleasing the audience.'
'It's all about coming through with what you say you're going to come through with,' he shared, dropping a lesson he has learned. 'If we would've been combative or started arguing with him, it would've just delayed him getting onto the DJ booth.'
In another instance, a mystery male singer threw a tantrum because his champagne bottle did not arrive on time.
'I said, "Hey, we sent the champagne bottle to your table." And he said, "Yeah, give it to somebody that's homeless. I don't need it. I'm out,"' Krauss shared.
'It was just a rude comment. But afterwards, I did have a discussion with their [publicist]. They apologized, and all was good as far as that.'
Krauss said that he has learned to brush it all off and is 'used to it by now,' reiterating that the bad actors are actually in the minority.
Ultimately, Krauss has become the go-to planner for many stars' birthday dinners, album releases or just a fun night out because he is reliable.
'Timing and consistency, and just doing what I say I'm going to do,' he said of the secret to his success. 'If a celebrity comes into a restaurant that I arranged, they have a great time. They are treated really well.'
