Clooney was posing for pictures on the red carpet when he noticed a photographer fall over on the steps as he was shooting the actor and his wife.

The actor gasped and immediately rushed to the photographer’s rescue after he took a tumble.

Clooney was seen extending an arm to help the photographer back to their feet, while his wife Amal also offered her support to the paparazzo.

In footage of the incident, Clooney and Amal are seen tending to the photographer. They are heard asking the photographer if he was “alright” and checking he is not hurt.

The couple then returned to posing for photographs and the paparazzo is seen taking pictures of Clooney and Amal.

In a further clip from the Venice Film Festival, Clooney was filmed joining the huge throng of photographers taking pictures of the stars attending the premiere of Wolfs — which also stars Brad Pitt and Amy Ryan.

Clooney then chose to try his hand at red carpet photography and go behind the camera. The actor decided to sit with the gaggle of photographers on the red carpet.

He then borrowed one of the paparazzo’s cameras and took pictures of the stars on the red carpet himself.

As he snapped pictures, the group of photographers turned their lens to Clooney and began eagerly taking pictures of the actor with his camera.

While celebrities can sometimes have a strained relationship with paparazzi, there have been some humorous and heartwarming incidents between stars and photographers.

Earlier this year, rapper A$AP Rocky made a TMZ photographer jog with him to get the shot in a hilarious new video. He was so impressed by her efforts that he offered to buy the photographer lunch.
