With updates being patched every six weeks, Version 5.2 is set to arrive on November 20. Because livestream events tend to occur two weeks before, on Fridays, it is possible to speculate that the Version 5.2 livestream will happen on November 8.

There are rumors of a new skin for one of my favorite Genshin Impact characters and I couldn’t be more excited about possibly changing their outfit.

Such events are usually hosted during the morning, around 8 am ET. As such, the Genshin Impact 5.2 livestream should happen on November 8, at 8 am ET. The livestream events are usually broadcast on the official Genshin Impact channels on YouTube and Twitch.

New details about Chasca in Genshin Impact 5.2 indicate her flight ability has been significantly buffed, which may make her useful outside Natlan.

The rumors mention that Chasca’s specialty is taking flight and then raining Normal and Charged Attacks on her enemies, much like how Wanderer works. Chasca is rumored to have coordinated attacks that also increase her overall damage output. Her leaked flight mechanic is seemingly a good means of traversal, especially in Natlan, as her Nightsoul’s Blessing state can consume both Nightsoul points and Phlogiston while in the Nation of Pyro.

The other confirmed new character for Version 5.2 is Ororon. The Electro character is rumored to be a 4-star bow user with sub-DPS capabilities. The leaks about Ororon’s kit in Genshin Impact 5.2 indicate that he can summon an orb that pulses Electro DMG and draws enemies’ attention, allowing the team comp to safely strike them while activating Electro-based Elemental Reactions. With his rumored Nightsoul Transmission ability, Ororon can leap up into the air and glide for a short period. Rumors indicate Ororon also has a special vision that allows him to see secrets in Natlan.

Ororon may stand out among other characters in Genshin Impact thanks to a unique ability that may help resolve secrets and puzzles in Natlan.

While Chasca and Ororon should be the only new characters, older characters are bound to rerun in banners during Version 5.2. According to the most recent character banner leaks for Genshin Impact 5.2, Lyney, Neuvillette, and Zhongli should be the 5-star rerun units during the patch. The leak predicts that Lyney will rerun in Phase 1, alongside Chasca during her debut as a 5-star character, while Neuvillette and Zhongli compose the Phase 2 banners for the patch.

It is uncertain when Ororon will become available, but as a rumored 4-star unit, he should be integrated to the larger loot pool following his debut.

The rerun characters are still very uncertain at this point. Prior to the current leak, other rumors pointed at Albedo, Klee, and Venti reruns. Because HoYoverse announced that Version 5.2 would not feature the 500 Primogem reward for Archon Quest completion, the community was led to believe that there would be a pause in the Natlan arc during the patch. However, a new leak indicates there is one new Archon Quest in Genshin Impact 5.2, though it may revolve mainly around Iansan rather than the larger story arc in the Nation of Pyro. The leaks mention that Mavuika doesn’t participate in the quest, for example.

Genshin Impact 5.2's New Leaked Feature Is A Blessing For Veterans

A new system optimization is coming with Genshin Impact 5.2, according to leaks, and it may significantly improve the experience for veteran players.

The Natlan map is also bound to expand, with rumors indicating that three distinct areas should be added with Version 5.2. The leaked areas seem to double the current size of the Nation of Pyro, offering around the same amount of explorable area that was granted with Version 5.0. The leaked Natlan map areas in Genshin Impact 5.2 will seemingly expand to the west, northwest, and northeast of the current map. It is uncertain if the map exploration will tie in with the rumored new Archon Quest.

In addition to the rumored main quest and the new areas, the patch should also host a series of events to keep players entertained throughout the update. New leaks about the rewards coming to the Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact 5.2 have emerged and they seem to be very disappointing.

There seems to be a lot of content planned for Version 5.2 based on the current leaks. The information should be confirmed and presented during the livestream, which should occur soon if there are no unexpected delays to the regular schedule. This should also be the patch that allows Xbox console players to install Genshin Impact and integrate the larger player base.
