Steve Burton is accusing his ex-wife Sheree Gustin of blocking his access to their younger daughter in a newly filed court claim that reignites tensions years after their headline-making split.
The General Hospital star, 55, alleges Gustin, 49, has been engaging in 'blatant parental alienation' and 'systematically' undermining his relationship with their 11-year-old daughter Brooklyn, according to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail.
Burton claims his ex has placed 'unnecessary obstacles' in the way of his court-ordered custody time and has 'repeatedly refused' to allow his wife Michelle Lundstrom to pick up Brooklyn on his behalf.
He further alleges Gustin will not 'acknowledge Michelle's role as my wife or Michelle's daughters as Brooklyn’s stepsisters’, despite insisting that the child shares a ‘close relationship’ with them.
Burton and Gustin also share two older children, daughter Makena, 22, and son Jack, 20.
The former couple finalized their divorce in 2023 after 23 years of marriage, months after Burton revealed Gustin was expecting a child with another man.

Lundstrom shares two daughters from a previous relationship, Lilah, 15, and Hannah, 11.
In the new filings, Burton claims Gustin has refused to cooperate in arranging visits for Brooklyn to travel to his home in Tennessee after his relocation from California.
Gustin denies the allegations of parental alienation in her response, noting that the pair previously established a custody schedule through earlier legal proceedings.
She says she supports Brooklyn maintaining a relationship with her father but does not want her to ‘spend half her life traveling’.
She explains that she does not believe Brooklyn should be away from home for more than three weeks at a time.
While insisting she remains open to flexible arrangements, Gustin argues that Burton chose to move out of state to Tennessee.
She adds that if he wants additional time with their daughter beyond the agreed schedule, he is free to travel to California to see her.
In a May 2025 court filing, Gustin alleged that Burton had been ‘harassing’ her by sending what she described as excessive messages regarding custody arrangements for Brooklyn.

The claim came just weeks after Burton married Lundstrom.
Prior to that filing, Burton had already accused Gustin of interfering with his visitation time with their daughter, echoing claims made in his latest submission.
‘Sheree has seemingly forgotten how our family ended up in this situation. It was Sheree who had an extramarital affair, became pregnant with another man's child and immediately moved him into her home after our separation, without informing me she would be doing so,’ Burton stated in earlier court documents.
He continued: ‘Early on in my relationship with Michelle, Sheree began to refuse to call Michelle by her name and instead referred to her as "the girl" in an effort to downplay her role in my life. In one text message exchange, Sheree stated, in part, as follows, "Michelle is not your family or our kids' family lol. She is your girlfriend."’
‘Sheree made it clear to me that she did not want Brooklyn to spend time with me if Michelle or her daughters were present,’ he added.
‘When Michelle and her daughters were in town, Sheree would make it difficult for me to exercise custodial time with Brooklyn when I was in California.
'All of my requests were met with resistance. Sheree would tell me my requested time did not work or that they were busy, despite me providing her with ample notice.’
Burton is best known for his long-running role as Jason Morgan on General Hospital, a character he has portrayed on and off from 1991–2012, 2017–2021, and again from 2024–2025.
Lundstrom, meanwhile, has built a following as a lifestyle and food influencer.
She also appeared on the second season of Netflix’s Barbecue Showdown in 2023, where she was the fifth contestant eliminated.
Gustin, meanwhile, shares daughters Izabella, three, and Addy, two, with Jason Amador.
