The best-of-five series featured high-stakes competition, with Game 2 turning into a 45-minute marathon that swung the emotional momentum of the entire match.

The game stretched into a prolonged battle featuring multiple high-level teamfights. The decisive moment came when Chovy, piloting Locke, orchestrated a pivotal Baron play that flipped the map state entirely.

That Baron secure knotted the series at 1-1, and GEN.G closed out the series to advance to the Grand Finals.

The LCK’s most consistent dynasty rolls on

GEN.G entered the 2026 LCK playoffs as the top regular-season seed for the third consecutive year, posting a 19-7 record during the regular split.

The LCK’s 2026 postseason uses a double-elimination format with best-of-five series and fearless draft. In the 2025 LCK Finals, GEN.G took down HLE 3-1.

HLE will drop to the lower bracket, where they’ll need to fight their way back through the losers’ side for another crack at GEN.G on September 13.
